Mrazek allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Red Wings loss in Boston on Saturday. The Red Wings continue to split games between their two netminder, which means that Mrazek will face Washington tonight. He has been great all season and posted a 38-save shutout vs. the Capitals last Tuesday.

Stolarz served as Steve Mason’s backup on Wednesday because Michal Neuvirth was dealing with an upper-body injury. With Neuvirth back at practice this morning, Stolarz has been sent back to Lehigh Valley.

Neuvirth did not dress for Tuesday’s game because of an upper-body injury, but it was obviously minor and he should be set to at least dress for Thursday’s game vs. San Jose.

Price has been sidelined since October 29th, but his return to practice this morning suggests that he is nearing a return to the Habs’ crease. Mike Condon has played admirably while serving as Montreal’s No. 1, but he has struggled recently, so Price’s return will be a welcomed sight. Monitor his status as the week progresses.

Lehtera left Tuesday’s game after playing just 3:25 TOI. He took a high stick from Brandon Saad and was forced to retire to the dressing room. Luther is listed as day-to-day and he should be monitored during Thursday’s morning skate.

Bonino was scratched on Tuesday and is listed as day-to-day with an illness. The Penguins are back in play on Thursday, so monitor Bonino’s status during tomorrow’s morning skate.

Maatta was hit into the open bench door in Tuesday’s win vs. Minnesota. Matt was down on the ice for a few minutes before being helped to the locker room. Matt was held overnight at a nearby hospital for evaluation and an update on his status is expected to come on Wednesday.

Rinne stopped all 20 shots that he faced in the Predators’ 7-0 shutout win over the Jets on Saturday. It was a nice outing for Rinne who allowed a combined 16 goals in his previous five games. Tonight he will face a Ducks team that has gone 5-1-2 while averaging 2.88 goals per game in their last nine.

Quick gave up three goals on 25 shots in the Saturday’s victory over the Oilers. Quick hasn’t been great in November, registering a 2-3-0 record, 2.84 GAA and .883 SV% this month. However, things should turn around this week. It starts tonight vs. the NHL’s 29th ranked offence in Philadelphia.


Rask allowed one goal on 23 shots in the Bruins’ win over the Red Wings on Saturday. Rask has gone 2-3-0 with a 2.65 GAA and .906 SV% in November but it will take some time for his numbers to start to look like the Rask numbers we are used to seeing. Tonight he faces a Sharks team that has won each of it’s first two games to start their road trip.


Nilsson allowed four goals on 21 shots in the Oilers’ 4-1 loss in Arizona last Thursday. Nilsson has alternated wins and losses in his last four outings, posting a 2.75 GAA and .903 SV%. Both he and Cam Talbot are struggling big time right now, but with Talbot losing on Saturday, they’ll give Nilsson another shot tonight vs. Chicago.

Jurco has been a healthy scratch since October 31st and has only appeared in four games this season. He has had a tough time cracking the Red Wings’ lineup so he will head to Grand Rapids for a maximum of two weeks.

Dubnyk allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Wild’s loss in Dallas on Saturday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Dubnyk. The 29-year-old has gone 10-3-2 with a 2.44 GAA and .911 SV% in 14 starts and one relief appearance. Dubnyk will face a struggling Penguins team that has lost three of their last four.

Niemi allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Stars loss to the Maple Leafs last Tuesday. Kari Lehtonen has started five of the last six games, but they will go with Niemi tonight in Buffalo. Niemi has posted a 2.80 GAA and .907 SV% in 10 games this season, but draws a solid matchup tonight. Buffalo enters play at 8-8-1.

Andersen allowed four goals on 27 shots in the Ducks overtime loss to the Oilers last Wednesday. He lost both of his starts in extra time last week. With Anton Khudobin starting on Monday, look for Andersen to go on Tuesday vs. the Predators. Andersen enters play with a 0-4-1 record, 2.43 GAA and .928 SV% on the road this season.
