Talbot will start Tuesday vs. the Wild.

Talbot surrendered three goals on 34 shots in the Oilers 3-2 loss to the Kings on Sunday. Talbot has played very well as an Oiler, posting a 2.35 GAA and .917 SV%, but the offence is only averaging 2.33 goals per game right now, so Talbot has just two wins in six starts. Tonight he faces the Wild in Minnesota—Talbot is 1-2-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .925 SV% on the road.

Cam Talbot
Quick is expected to start Tuesday vs. the Jets.

Quick turned aside 26 of 28 shots in the Kings’ win in Edmonton on Sunday. Quick has won four in a row while posting a 0.99 GAA and .966 SV%. Tonight he draws a tough matchup against a Jets team who is 5-2-1 while averaging 3.50 goals per game in their first eight contests.

Jonathan Quick
Bishop will be in goal vs. the Blues.

Bishop allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Lightning’s win in Winnipeg last Friday. Bishop was given Saturday night off, but will be back in goal tonight in St. Louis. Bishop has won five of his eight starts while posting a 2.61 GAA and .907 SV%. Tonight will be his sixth start on the road—he has gone 3-1-1 with a 2.57 GAA and .912 SV%.

Ben Bishop
Hanzal (lower-body) is questionable for Tuesday's game vs. Boston.

Hanzal left Monday’s game vs. the Maple Leafs and will be a game-time decision tonight in Boston. With Antoine Vermette already out, the Coyotes could use Vermette in the lineup. Monitor his status leading up to pre-game warmups.

Martin Hanzal
Smith will start again on Tuesday.

Smith allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Coyotes win over the Maple Leafs last night. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for Smith, who will start again tonight in Boston. The Bruins currently rank third in the NHL in goals (3.86 G/PG), so it won’t be an easy night for Smith on a back-to-back.

Mike Smith
Bennett (concussion) could be back in the lineup on Wednesday.

Bennett has missed the last five games with a concussion, but he was back at practice this morning and he is hoping to be cleared for Wednesday’s game in Washington. Bennett skated on the Penguins fourth line with Matt Cullen and Sergei Plotnikov.

The Bruins have sent Max Talbot to Providence (AHL).

Talbot has been a healthy scratch in the last four games and has now been sent back to Providence. Talbot registered no points in two games with the Bruins.

Max Talbot
Dubnyk's knee is fine and he will start tonight vs. the Oilers.

Dubnyk’s availability for tonight’s game was in question because of a knee injury, but an MRI revealed it’s just inflammation and he is good to go. Dubnyk has won five of seven starts this season while posting a 2.27 GAA and .909 SV%. Tonight he will face his former team, who he has gone 5-1-0 with a 0.99 GAA and .960 SV% against in his career.

Devan Dubnyk
Mason will start Tuesday vs. the Sabres.

Mason made 37 saves on 39 shots in the Flyers win over the Rangers on Saturday. After losing three in a row to start the season, Mason has won two straight while stopping 51 of 55 shots (.927 SV%). He draws a great matchup tonight vs. a Sabres team who has lost four of five while being outscored 17-10.

Steve Mason
Johnson will be in goal Tuesday vs. the Flyers.

Johnson allowed seven goals on 26 shots in the Sabres 7-2 loss to Montreal last Friday. As the Sabres starter Johnson has won two of six starts while posting a 3.06 GAA and .879 SV%. Tonight he will face a Flyers team who is averaging just 2.14 goals per game, but he is still a risky start.

Chad Johnson
Bozak (lower-body) returned to practice on Tuesday.

Bozak has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury but he returned to practice on Tuesday and could be back in the lineup on Friday in New York. Continue to track Bozak’s progress as the week moves along.

Tyler Bozak
Hoffman (upper-body) is doubtful for Wednesday's game.

Hoffman took part in Tuesday’s practice but did not take line rushes with his regular line, which suggests that he still isn’t 100 percent. The Senators have him listed as doubtful, but monitor his status during Wednesday’s morning skate.

Mike Hoffman
Anderson will start Wednesday vs. the Flames.

Anderson allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Senators loss to the Coyotes on Saturday. Anderson won his first three games of the season, but has now dropped three in a row, while allowing a combined eight goals on 86 shots (.907 SV%). He draws a good matchup tonight vs. a Flames team who has struggled out of the gate—Calgary sits at 2-7-0 in their first nine games.
