Knight will make his sixth start of the season when the Panthers travel to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks on Thursday. It will be Knight's first appearance since November 12th, when he allowed three goals on 23 shots in a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Devils. Florida's backup netminder owns an .897 SV% and a 3-2-0 record on the season. He's got an excellent chance of getting back in the win column on Thursday with the Panthers entering action as -250 road favourites.

Mrazek has been sidelined the previous two games but will return to the crease on Thursday against the Florida Panthers. The 32-year-old Mrazek has been solid between the pipes for the Blackhawks this season, posting a 2.79 GAA and .906 SV% in 13 games (5-8-0).

He has eight points (1G / 7A) in 14 games with the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL). Hagg's call-up may just be precautionary as Alex Pietrangelo and Shea Theodore are both reportedly banged up.

Pesce had been battling an undisclosed injury but, with five days between games, seems to have had ample time to recover. He will likely be in the lineup on Thursday against his former club, the Carolina Hurricanes. The 30-year-old Pesce has been a stabilizing presence on the blueline in his first season with New Jersey, averaging 20:42 time-on-ice and recording 20 blocks in 12 games.

Arvidsson is battling an undisclosed ailment and will miss his fifth consecutive game. Most recently, the 31-year-old Arvidsson had been suiting up on a line with Leon Draisatl after struggling to find success in the early going of his first season with the Oilers, scoring five points (2G / 3A) in his first 16 games.

The Devils will turn to Markstrom between the pipes on Thursday for his 500th career game. New acquired Kasperi Kapanen, claimed from waivers yesterday, will draw into the lineup to make his Oilers debut.
