Schlemko (lower-body) is returning to Phoenix to rest.

Schlemko is not progressing like the Coyotes will like, so he will return to Arizona where he can rest his bone bruise and be monitored by the Coyotes doctors. Phoenix has three games left in their road-trip so expect Schlemko to miss at least three games and return by Saturday at the earliest.

David Schlemko
Gorges will be out four weeks after undergoing surgery on a broken hand.

Missing four weeks would have Gorges missing the next 14 games and returning with just two regular season games remaining. Montreal looks poised for a playoff spot so Gorges is expected to be back for a Stanley Cup push.

Josh Gorges
Andersen starts tonight vs. the Maple Leafs.

Andersen stopped 49 of 52 shots i na win over the Hurricanes on March 2. The 49-save performance is a career-high for Andersen, who will get the start tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. Toronto plays a very offensive game, so the matchup is not great. However, Andersen is 8-1-0 with a 1.88 GAA and .943 SV% at home this season, so it is strength vs. strength in Cali tonight.

Frederik Andersen
Ortio will start his fourth straight game.

Ortio stopped 12 of 14 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Canucks on Saturday. It was a quiet night for Ortio, but aside from a 100-foot blast by Brian McGrattan, the Flames couldn't beat Eddie Lack. His fourth straight start will come vs. a Kings team who have won seven in a row while outscoring the opposition 20-9.

Joni Ortio
Hutton starts Tuesday for the Predators.

Hutton allowed three goals on 20 shots in a loss to the Jets on March 1. He has been glued to the bench for the last four games with Pekka Rinne back with the team. Hutton makes for a good spot-start tonight against the Sabres. He has gone 7-6-3 with a 3.10 GAA and .897 SV% on the road.

Carter Hutton
Rinne starts Monday for the Predators.

Rinne stopped 35 of 36 shots, but the Predators were unable to solve Sergei Bobrovsky at the other end which left Rinne on the wrong end of a 1-0 final. He will make his fourth consecutive start tonight in Ottawa. Rinne is still searching for his first W since returning, but he has played well registering a 2.04 GAA and .922 SV% in his first three starts.

Pekka Rinne
Andersson will miss 2-3 weeks with a broken left foot.

Andersson broke his foot while blocking a shot on the penalty kill on Sunday. Add him to the list of injured centreman in Detroit. Expect Cory Emmerton to draw into the lineup vs. the Blue Jackets.

Joakim Andersson
Gibbons (lower-body) will miss his second straight.

Gibbons did not play on Friday because of a lower-body injury. He will be held out of tonight's contest as well which means Lee Stempniak will be with Sidney Crosby and Chris Kunitz again. Gibbons will likely be back in the lineup on Tuesday.

Brian Gibbons
Smith to start in goal for Phoenix.

Smith surrendered three goals on 33 shots in a loss to the Capitals on Saturday. Smith has had his moments this season, but has struggled to find any consistency. Tonight, he gets the call in Tampa Bay. Smith has struggled on the road having posted a 7-10-7 record with a 2.94 GAA and .912 SV%.

Mike Smith
Zatkoff gets the start in goal for the Penguins.

Zatkoff allowed four goals on 46 shots in a 5-3 loss to the Sharks on Thursday. The Penguins have a home-and-home with the Capitals on Monday and Tuesday, so Zatkoff will get the first crack at Washington with Fleury going Tuesday. Zatkoff has never faced the Caps but is 6-2-1 with a 2.67 GAA and .917 SV% on the road.

Jeff Zatkoff
Mason starts for the Flyers on Tuesday.

Mason gave up four goals on 36 shots in a 4-3 OT loss to the Maple Leafs on Saturday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak, but what is most alarming is that Mason has allowed four goals in four of his last five starts. He carries a 15-10-1 home record into tonight's contest with the Devils.

Steve Mason
Thomas gets the start in goal for the Stars.

Thomas stopped all six shots he faced after replacing the injured Kari Lehtonen on Saturday. He entered the game while it was 3-3 and the Stars took the lead with under five minutes in the third, earning Thomas his firs win with Dallas. With Lehtonen battling a head injury, Thomas looks to be in line to start vs. the Blue Jackets.
