

Anderson gave up four goals on 43 shots in a loss to the Red Wings on Monday. Despite allowing four goals, Anderson was very strong for a Senators team who didn’t play great in front of him. He has given up 15 goals on 142 shots (.894 SV%) in his last four starts, but draws a strong matchup vs. Al Montoya and the Panthers.

Enroth allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Sabres loss to Winnipeg on Wednesday. Enroth has played very well for the Sabres, winning of three with a 2.48 GAA and .930 SV%. Despite the hot-streak, he is a risky start vs. the Canadiens.

Luongo suffered the arm injury in the Panthers win over the Hurricanes on Monday. He stopped all 11 shots he faced before retiring to the dressing room for the night. With Lu out, Al Montoya gets the start on Friday with Dan Ellis serving as his backup.

Montoya stopped all 22 shots he faced after replacing an injured Roberto Luongo in the Panthers 1-0 win on Wednesday. With Bobby Lu still out, Montoya gets the call tonight vs. the Senators. He has a 1.99 GAA and .926 SV% in six games this season.

Lundqvist allowed four goals on 29 shots in the Rangers loss to Tampa Bay on Wednesday. Cam Talbot got the call last night and posted a shutout, so Lundqvist should be a strong a start tonight. He has gone 6-4-2 with a 2.54 GAA and .912 SV% at Madison Square Garden.

Talbot stopped all 31 shots in the Rangers 2-0 win over the Flyers on November 19th. It was Talbot’s first win of the season and he will take on the Flyers again today looking for win number-2. He makes for a solid spot-start against a Philly team who have lost six of their last seven.

Price stopped all 33 shots in the Habs shutout win over the Bruins on Saturday. Price has been great as of late, winning six of his last seven starts with a 1.43 GAA and .950 SV%. He is a must-start tonight in Buffalo.

Rinne turned aside 18 of 21 shots in the Predators shootout win over the Kings on Tuesday. The W extended his winning streak to four games and made him 8-1-0 with a 1.97 GAA and .927 SV% in November. He is red-hot and the Oilers are struggling big time, so Rinne is a definite must-start tonight.

Fasth surrendered three goals on 34 shots in the Oilers 3-2 loss to Dallas on Tuesday. The loss extended his losing streak to three games—he has posted a 3.46 GAA and .894 SV% over that stretch. The Oilers are in full-out tail-spin mode right now, so Fasth should be avoided until they start turning things around.

Perreault played just 9:54 in the Jets win over Columbus on Tuesday. With Perreault out, Anthony Peluso moved into the lineup and Adam Lowry shifted to centre on the third line. Perreault is day-to-day. Monitor his status prior to Friday’s game in Boston.

Luongo was replaced by Al Montoya. He departed with a 1-0 lead intact. If the injury s serious, it would be a serious blow to the Panthers. Expect an update on Thursday or Friday.

Kuemper gave up two goals on 28 shots in a 2-1 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday. He was given Sunday night off, so it looks like he will be back in goal tonight vs. the Kings. In seven home starts, Kuemper has gone 6-1-0 with a 1.73 GAA and .919 SV%.

Jones allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Kings shootout loss to Nashville last night. Surprisingly the Kings will roll with Jones back-to-back instead of giving their ace Jonathan Quick the start tonight. Jones holds a 2.06 GAA and .922 SV% in five outings this season.

The Sharks were scrambling to find a backup for Antti Niemi after doctors determined Wednesday morning that Troy Grosenick could not play. Grosenick, who has started two games for the Sharks, suffered an upper body injury Tuesday during practice. Alex Stalock is still on injured reserve with a knee ailment. A San Jose State alum, Lowe, 31, last played professional hockey in 2013 for the Sydney Bears of the Australian Ice Hockey League, and was hired as a goalie coach for the Jr. Sharks in May.

It is believed that Myers suffered the injury while blocking a shot in the Sabres win over the Capitals on Saturday. Andrej Meszaros will slide into the lineup with Myers out. He is day-to-day.

Klefbom, 21, has eight points (1G / 7A) in nine games with Oklahoma City this season. He has failed to record a point in two games with the Oilers. With the way the Oilers have been playing as of late, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them make some changes and put Klefbom in the lineup tomorrow.

Brodeur, 42, will be on the ice with the club on Friday. They lost Brian Elliott to a sprained knee, so there is no saying how long he will be out, so they are turning to the future hall of famer to see if he can come in an help the team win some games. He will likely practice with the Blues a few times before they decide whether or not to sign the free agent net minder.

Bishop is not on the ice for the Lightning’s optional morning skate, which suggests that he will start tonight vs. the Rangers. He stopped 30 of 31 shots in a 2-1 win over the Wild on Saturday. It was a nice bounce-back performance for Bishop, who sits at 12-3-2 with a 2.30 GAA and .917 SV% this season.

Jones has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury that he suffered on November 15th. Corban Knight is expected to be the one who is reassigned to the AHL to make room for Jones. Lance Bouma, who played on the top-line last night, is expected to move back and centre the fourth line, with Jones taking his spot with Sean Monahan and Curtis Glencross.
