Crawford allowed two goals on 36 shot attempts in the Blackhawks’ win over the Oilers on Sunday. Despite struggling terribly through two contests, the Hawks stuck with Crawford and he delivered a solid performance for his seventh win of the season. Despite a few ugly outings, Crawford still boasts a 2.38 GAA and .920 SV% this season and makes for a nice start vs. a Devils team that he will be seeking revenge against.

Ramo surrendered four goals on 31 shots in the Flames loss in Florida on Tuesday. Despite posting an ugly 3.21 GAA and .891 SV% in his last five starts, Ramo has won three of them and will make his sixth straight start on Thursday. He will take on the team that drafted him back in 2004, but it is a Tampa Bay team who has been struggling to score goals through the first five weeks of the season.

Nilsson allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Oilers loss to the Penguins last Friday. Cam Talbot started on Sunday, but they will go back to Nilsson tonight in Anaheim. Nilsson comes into play with a 3.09 GAA and .911 SV% in five games this season. The Ducks have won four of five while averaging 3.00 goals per game.

Rakell has missed the last three games and it looks like he will mis his fourth consecutive contest tonight vs. Edmonton. Rakell is listed as questionable, which means he might take warmups and then decide if he can play. Consider him a game-time decision.

Garbutt is expected to miss his second straight game with an illness. The Blackhawks recalled Brandon Mashinter from Rockford (AHL) and he is expected to play in Garbutt’s spot on Thursday.

Wennberg suffered a lower-body injury on Tuesday vs. the Canucks and will miss at least seven days after being placed on injured reserve today. With Wennberg out, look for Rene Bourque to play on Friday.

Quincey has missed the last eight games with an ankle injury that will now require surgery that will keep him sidelined until late December. With Quincey out for an extended period of time, Alexey Marchenko will continue to play with the Red Wings.

Allen has emerged as the Blues clear No. 1 recently and is arguably the hottest goalie in the NHL right now. He has won three in a row while allowing just a single goal on 97 shots (.990 SV%). On Thursday, his shutout streak goes on the line vs. a Rangers team that has won six in a row.

Schneider allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Devils’ 2-0 loss to the Blues on Tuesday. Schneider once again performed at a high level, but he was out duelled by Jake Allen, who is scorching right now. Schneider has won seven of his first 12 starts while sporting a very strong 2.14 GAA and .923 SV%. There is no denying his talent, but the talent around him is questionable.

Shore has no points, one shot on goal and a plus-2 rating in three games this season. Shore heads back to Texas where he has 11 points (8G / 3A) in nine games.

Nemeth has been a healthy scratch in the last four games but heads to Texas for a two-week conditioning stint. Nemeth has no points and a minus-3 rating in two games with Dallas this season.

Gabriel played just 2:51 in his NHL debut on Tuesday and was sent back to Iowa this afternoon.

Barkov has missed the last eight games with a broken hand but will return to practice tomorrow. Barkov is nearing a return to the lineup but there is no word how many practice days he will need before he can play.

Orpik played just one shift into the second period before retiring to the dressing room for the night. Orpik, who is a pillar on the Capitals top pair, is in danger of missing Thursday's game in Philadelphia. Consider him day-to-day.

McGinn had two goals, one assist and a minus-11 rating in 12 games with the Hurricanes. McGinn played just 7:41 last night, so he will be sent to Charlotte to play more regular minutes.

Blunden was called up incase Cedric Paquette was unable to play on Tuesday, but Paquette was good to go, so Blunden has been reassigned to Syracuse.

Dupuis missed the last two games after being taken to the hospital for testing last Friday. All tests came back negative so Dupuis is good to go tonight vs. the Canadiens. Dupuis has one goal in six games and tonight he will play on a line with Sidney Crosby and Beau Bennett.
