Koivu (ankle) will not play tonight vs. Edmonton.

It is possible that the WIld simply do not want Koivu playing in a back-to-back situation after missing nearly two months. Monitor his status prior to Friday's clash with the Canucks.

Smith is the Coyotes starter tonight vs. Winnipeg.

Smith did not get a chance to play for Team Canada behind Carey Price and Roberto Luongo, but he did play very well with Phoenix before heading overseas. He won two of four starts while posting a 1.27 GAA, .960 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he will get a shot against a Jets team who have been great under new head coach Paul Maurice.

Kuemper will make his 13th consecutive start for the WIld.

Kuemper allowed two goals on 18 shots in a win over the Predators in the Wild's last game before the Olympic break. He has seven of his 12 consecutive starts and holds a 2.46 GAA and .917 SV% in 15 games this season. On Thursday he will face an Oilers team he beat 4-1 on Jan. 16.

Quick starts in goal for the Kings.

Quick allowed one goal on 25 shots in a win over the Blue Jackets in his final game before the Olympics. He started five of six games en route to a fourth place finish with Team USA. Tonight Quick is a must-start as he gets set to face the Flames in Calgary.

Ben Bishop in net tonight for the #tblightning.

Bishop surrendered two goals on 33 shots in a 4-2 win against the Red Wings before the break. Bishop is a front runner for the Vezina Trophy as he sits 28-8-4 with a 1.98 GAA and .933 SV%. He will look to take down Carter Hutton and the Preds tonight, he enters play 13-5-2 on the road this season.

Holtby starts for the Capitals.

Holtby stopped all 25 shots in a 3-0 win over the Devils in the Capitals last game before the break. Tonight he will get the call vs. Tim Thomas and the Panthers. Holtby enters play with a 7-7-1 record, 2.98 GAA and .902 SV% on the road this season.

Gustavsson starts the second game of the back-to-back.

Gustavsson stopped all eight shots before departing with dizziness vs. the Canucks on Feb. 3. 'The Monster' is 13-4-3 with a 2.55 GAA .911 SV% this season. Tonight marks his second start against the Senators this season, he stopped 30 of 32 shots in a 4-2 win in December.

Scrivens gets the call for the Oilers.

Scrivens stopped 35 of 36 shots in a 2-1 win over the Rangers on Feb 6. Scrivens has gone 3-3-0 with a 2.01 GAA and .948 SV% in six starts since being traded to the Oilers. Scrivens gave up four goals on 33 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Wild in his first start with Edmonton.

Lehtonen starts in goal for the Stars.

Lehtonen allowed one goal on 27 shots in win over the Coyotes in his last start before the Olmypics and then went 1-1 in Sochi for Finland. Lehtonen is 22-15-10 with a 2.48 GAA and .916 SV% this season and looks to make his first start of the season vs. Carolina on Thursday.

Pavelec starts for the Jets as expected.

Pavelec went 2-1-1 with the Czech Republic in the Olympics and appears set to start the Jets first game back on Thursday. He is 7-6-0 over the last two months and sits with a 2.97 GAA and .901 SV% on the season. He will look to move to 2-0-0 vs. the Coyotes tomorrow night.

Crawford gets the call for the Blackhawks.

Crawford allowed two goals on 26 shots in a loss to the Coyotes before the break. Since returning from a groin injury Crawford has gone 5-3-7 with 2.14 GAA and .929 SV%. Tonight he will face the Rangers who are starting their backup Cam Talbot.

Stalock starts for the Sharks.

Stalock allowed one goal on 20 shots in a win over the Stars on Feb. 5. He is 8-4-0 with a 1.67 GAA and .938 SV% on the season. He has outplayed Antti Niemi recently and continues to challenge him for starts. He has more value than most other backups in the NHL at this time.

Bernier gets the nod for the Maple Leafs.

Bernier stopped 32 of 33 shots in a win over the Canucks before the break. He won five of his last six starts heading into the break and hopes to pick-up where he left off tonight vs. the Islanders. In two starts vs. the Isles this season, Bernier is 1-1-0 with a 3.03 GAA and .902 SV%, however this time around there will be no John Tavares.

Bobrovsky starts for the Blue Jackets.

Bobrovsky stopped 44 of 47 shots in a loss to the Sharks in his final game before the Olympics. In Sochi, Bob allowed two goals on 55 shots (.964 SV%) while going 1-0-1. Bobrovsky stopped 24 of 25 shots in a 4-1 win in his only other start vs. the Devils this season.

Mason defeated the Sharks 5-2 on Feb. 3.

Thomas was yanked after allowing four goals on 14 shots in a loss to the Hurricanes in his final start before the break. Thomas has struggled allowing more than three goals in 10 of his last 12 games. Thomas enters play at 8-7-1 with a 2.44 GAA and .923 SV% at home this season.
