Schenn has been a healthy scratch for the last three games, but he will be reinserted into the lineup tonight in Boston. He will replace Brandon Manning, who struggled on Tuesday vs. the Stars. Schenn has zero points, one shot on goal a and a minus-2 rating in two games.

Gardiner was not on the ice for the Maple Leafs morning skate and will miss tonight’s matchup with the Sabres with an undisclosed injury. Maple Leafs’ coach Mike Babcock called him day-to-day, which means he could be back for Saturday’s game in Montreal or miss a week of action.

Bozak will miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury. He is listed as day-to-day but head coach Mike Babcock is not sure when they will get Bozak back.

Connolly was a healthy scratch on Saturday in Arizona but will get back into the lineup tonight because Matt Beleskey is sidelined with an upper-body injury. Connolly has one assist, six shots and a minus-4 rating in four games this season.

Methot missed Saturday’s game and Monday’s practice because of a concussion. However, he returned to practice this morning, but did not take part in line rushes, which suggests that he will miss Thursday’s game vs. New Jersey.

Craig Anderson started the first six games of the season, but the Senators will turn to Hammond tonight vs. New Jersey. He was incredible at the end of 2014-15, going 20-1-2 with a 1.79 GAA and .941 SV% to get the Sens to the playoffs. He won’t be able to sustain those numbers, but he should make for a good spot-start tonight vs. the Devils.

Neuvirth stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Flyers shutout win over the Blackhawks last Wednesday. Steve Mason started last night, so the Flyers will turn to Neuvirth tonight in Boston—he comes in with a 132:05 shutout streak having shutout the Hawks and Panthers in back-to-back games.

Seidenberg is not expected to be back in the Bruins lineup until late November, but it is an encouraging sign that he is skating one month removed from back surgery. He is not close to returning, but the Bruins could certainly use him. However, they will probably have to wait another four weeks.

Erixon has yet to appear in a game for the Penguins this season. He was recalled last Friday, but never dressed. He will head to WBS until the Penguins need a depth defenseman.

Larsson was a healthy scratch on Saturday in Tampa Bay, but he will replace David Legwand in the lineup tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. Larsson has no points and three shots on goal in three games this season.

Beleskey will not be in the lineup on Wednesday vs. the Flyers because of an upper-body injury. This means that Brett Connolly, who served as healthy scratch on Saturday, will get back into the lineup. Beleskey is day-to-day.

Bergeron missed the Bruins’ gameday skate because of ‘personal reasons’ which is believed to be that his wife is expecting. Bergeron is listed as a game-time decision, so monitor his status as warmups draw near.

Rask surrendered three goals on 23 shots in the Bruins win in Arizona on Saturday. The win was his first of the season and snapped a three-game losing streak for Rask. He comes into play tonight with an ugly 4.29 GAA and .851 SV% on the season, but draws a good matchup vs. the Flyers team struggling to score early on.

Varlamov surrendered five goals on 19 shots in the Avs’ loss to the Bruins last Wednesday. He was terrible in his first three starts of the season, allowing a combined 13 goals on 82 shots (.841 SV%). He will look to turn things around tonight vs. a Hurricanes team who is 21st in the NHL, averaging 2.20 goals per game.

Rinne allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Predators loss to the Islanders last Thursday. He was given Saturday night off, but is expected to be back in goal tonight vs. the Lightning. Rinne has been great so far this season, going 3-1-0 with a 1.51 GAA and .944 SV% in his first four starts.

Reinhart was not at practice on Tuesday so his status for Wednesday’s game against the Red Wings is up in the air. Monitor Reinhart’s status during tomorrow’s morning skate, but if he is ruled out, Andrew Ference will draw into the lineup.

Rendulic failed to record a point in three games with the Avalanche. He returns to the AHL where he had eight points (4G / 4A) in 26 games last season.

Holtby stopped 18 of 19 shots that he faced in the Capitals 4-1 win over the Hurricanes on Saturday. Holtby is off to a nice start to the season, having picked up wins in three of four starts while posting a 2.05 GAA and .920 SV%. He has a strong matchup tonight against a Flames team that is tied for 23rd in the NHL with 2.00 goals per game.
