Al Montoya gets the nod between the pipes tonight for the surging Winnipeg Jets.

Montoya allowed six goals on 39 shots in a 6-5 loss to the Panthers on January 5. The Jets have improved immensely under new head coach Paul Maurice. He doesn't have the look of a good Sunday spot-start in Chicago tonight.

Al Montoya
Thomas leads the Panthers onto the ice for warmups.

Thomas allowed three goals on 25 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Avalanche on Friday. The loss moved him to 13-14-3 with a 2.61 GAA and .916 SV% on the season. Tonight he takes on Red Wings who will be without Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg.

Hutton gets the starts vs. the Oilers.

Hutton stopped 33 of 34 shots in a 2-1 win over the Canucks on Thursday. Hutton has won four consecutive starts while posting a 1.72 GAA and .944 SV%. He strong play in January has earned him the call tonight vs. the Oilers, opposed to given it to Devan Dubnyk vs. his former team. If you need Sunday goalie numbers, he should make for a good start.

Carter Hutton
Scrivens gets the start for the Oilers.

Scrivens allowed two goals on 27 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Canucks. It was a much better start than his first as an Oiler. Tonight he takes on the Predators who have won four our of their last six games while outscoring their opposition 22-16.

Ben Scrivens
Franzen (concussion) will return to the Red Wings lineup tonight.

Franzen has missed 16 games with a concussion. He will play on a line with Darren Helm and Daniel Alfredsson, a pair of players who returned this week from injuries, as the Red Wings seek their third consecutive victory. Franzen had 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) in his past 17 games and totalled nine goals and 13 assists (22 points) in 30 games this season.

Johan Franzen
Quick leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick is coming off of a 2-1 loss to the Ducks on Thursday, he gave up two on 21 shots for his third consecutive loss. Despite the losing streak, his GAA (1.83) and SV% (.932) since returning to the net are sensational numbers. With the game to be played in conditions well above freezing, the ice is a concern, however the worse the ice the better for the goalies, Quick should make for a strong start.

Jonathan Quick
Hiller leads the Ducks onto the ice for warmups.

Hiller surrendered three goals on 11 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Jets on Tuesday. Despite struggling in his last two games, Hiller remains a top-15 goaltending option. He faces the Kings outdoor where the ice conditions should play in the goalies favour.

Jonas Hiller
Pavelec starts for the Jets.

Pavelec stopped 31 of 32 shots in a 1-0 tough-luck loss to the Sharks on Thursday. The loss snapped a four-game losing streak, but it was still a great outing for Pavelec who has been great as of late. Tonight he will take on a Maple Leafs team coming off of a 7-1 loss in Dallas.

Ondrej Pavelec
Miller starts for the Sabres.

Miller allowed four goals on 22 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Panthers on Tuesday. He has lost three in a row while giving up 10 goals on 96 shots (.856 SV%). It appears he will take on Sergei Bobrovsky and the red-hot Blue Jackets tonight in Columbus where they haven't lost in 2014.

Ryan Miller
Kuemper back in goal for the WIld.

Kuemper stopped 33 of 34 shots in a win over the Blackhawks on Thursday. It was another great performance from the 23-year-old backstop. The win moved him to 5-2-0 with a 1.68 GAA and .946 SV% in seven starts since being recalled. With Josh Harding out for the foreseeable future, Kuemper is expected to remain fantasy relevant.

Darcy Kuemper
Niemi starts for the Sharks.

Niemi gave up two goals on 23 shots in a 3-2 win over Calgary on Monday. He was given a break on Thursday, when Alex Stalock faced the Jets, but he Niemi will return to the crease tonight vs. Minnesota. He has won three consecutive starts with a 2.33 GAA and .920 SV%. He enters play tonight 1-1-0 against the Wild this season.

Antti Niemi
Daniel Sedin takes a demotion in linemates with Henrik out.

Sedin was bumped from the top-line in practice today. With his brother out of the lineup, Daniel found himself alongside Zac Dalpe and Zack Kassian on the second line. Henrik and Daniel should be reunited soon, but while Henrik is out, Daniel's fantasy stock takes a hit.

Daniel Sedin
Sedin (upper-body) is not at Canucks practice.

The Canucks are in action on Sunday and Sedin's absence at Saturday's practice does not bode well for his availability for Sunday's clash with Phoenix. Monitor his status during Sunday's morning skate.

Henrik Sedin
Quick did not participate in the Kings morning skate, which suggests he gets the start tonight.

With the game being played at Dodgers Stadium, it was expected that Quick would get the nod in favour of Martin Jones.

Keith (flu) is expected to play on Sunday.

Keith missed Thursday's contest and Saturday's practice because of the flu but is still expected to suit up tomorrow vs. the Jets. This is great news for Keith's fantasy owners who are in need of a late Sunday surge. Monitor his status during the morning skate for confirmation of his return.
