The San Jose Sharks on Wednesday placed goaltender Alex Stalock on injured reserve and recalled goaltender Troy Grosenick from the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League, the team announced. Stalock is 2-2-1 with a 2.38 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage in five games. He was slated to start Tuesday against the Florida Panthers, but Antti Niemi played instead and made 26 saves in a 4-1 loss. Grosenick, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound native of Brookfield, Wis., is 7-2-1 with a 2.73 GAA and .908 save percentage in 10 games for Worcester. He leads the AHL in wins and ranks second in minutes played (616). He signed a free-agent contract with the Sharks in April 2013.

Cory Schneider has started career high 16 consecutive games. This is the third longest start streak to open a season in Devils' history since Martin Brodeur played 17 straight in 2002-03. So far, Schneider is tied for 32nd in the NHL with a .904 save%.

Martin Jones is expected to make his first start since October 30th against the Penguins, a game in which he only had an .870 save% which was a season low. Currently, Martin Jones is sporting a .929 save% and a 1.73 GAA.

Mike Smith currently owns a 6-4-1 record with a 2.50 GAA and a .903 SV% in 11 career games against the Flames.

Lehtonen gave up three goals on 37 shots in a win over the Coyotes on Tuesday. The win snapped a five-game losing streak for Lehtonen, who sits at 5-3-4 with a 2.95 and .906 SV% on the season. He will get the start against a Kings team he allowed three goals on 30 shots against in a 3-1 loss last Tuesday.

Price stopped all 29 shots that he faced in the Habs 3-0 win over the Jets on Tuesday. After a three-game losing streak, Price has won each of his last two starts while stopping 59 of 60 shots (.983 SV%). He is a must start regardless of matchup.

Michael Hutchinson gets his third start of the season against the Hurricanes. In his previous start, Hutchinson has posted a shutout against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Jhonas Enroth gets the start for Buffalo against Minnesota. His last start was came on November 8th against Pittsburgh. A game in which he posted a .846 save%.

After starting last game on the bench, Ben Scrivens stopped all 18 shots he faced in relief. Scrivens seems to be rounding into form after a slow start, and has posted a record of 4-3-0 and an a save% of .926 in his last 8 appearances.

Lundqvist stopped all 33 shots for an impressive 5-0 shutout win over the Penguins on Tuesday. After a rough start to the year, King Henrik has settled in and now holds a 2.55 GAA and .914 SV% through 12 outings this season. Get him in your lineup vs. a struggling Avs squad.

Niemi struggled on Tuesday allied four goals on 30 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Panthers. He was not expected to start the game, but Alex Stalock suffered an injury in warmups and it resulted in Niemi's third straight loss. If the injury is serious Niemi gets a huge fantasy boost, but tonight's matchup is dangerous.
