Poulin in goal for the Islanders.

Poulin stopped 29 of 31 shots in a win over the Stars on Sunday. He has now won five consecutive games while posting a 2.50 GAA and .914 SV%. He has a good opportunity to make it six straight wins tonight vs. Florida. The Panthers currently rank 28th in the NHL with 2.20 goals per game and also have the worst power-play at 10.1%.

Kevin Poulin
Niemi gets the start for the Sharks.

Niemi was a tough-luck loser on Saturday when he stopped 21 of 22 shots in the 1-0 defeat at the hands of Bruins. Niemi sits at 2-2-0 with a 2.06 GAA and .920 SV% in five 2014 starts. Tonight he will take on the Capitals in Washington, Niemi is 8-8-3 on the road this season.

Antti Niemi
Lehtonen was the first goalie off at the Stars morning skate; he is expected to start vs. the Oilers.

Lehtonen surrendered three goals on 34 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Rangers on Friday. He was given Sunday night off vs. the Islanders, but it appears that he will take on the Oilers tonight. He has had a lot of success vs. Edmonton this season going 1-0-1 with a 0.96 GAA and .963 SV%.

Kari Lehtonen
Parise (foot) skated with assistant coach Darby Hendrickson before the Wild's morning skate.

Parise will miss his 11th consecutive game tonight, but skating is a step in the right direction. There is still no firm timetable for Parise's return from the fractured foot, but Team USA is hoping that he will be ready for the Olympics.

Zach Parise
Harding (illness) took part in the Wild's morning skate for the first time in over a week.

Harding remains on IR and there is no timetable for his return, but his presence at the morning skate is definite progress. The Wild will continue to roll with Darcy Kuemper and Niklas Backstrom while Harding is sidelined.

Grubauer gets the call for the Capitals.

Grubauer stopped 30 of 31 shots in a 2-1 shootout loss vs. the Sabres on Sunday. Despite only one win in his last five starts, Grubauer has posted a solid 2.12 GAA and .925 SV% which has resulted in a 1-1-3 record. He draws a tough matchup tonight vs. a Sharks team who ranks 5th in the NHL with 3.06 goals per game.

Philipp Grubauer
Jonathan Bernier makes ninth start in past 10 games tonight in Boston.

Bernier allowed two goals on 38 shots in a 3-2 shootout win over the Devils on Sunday. The win snapped a three game losing streak for Bernier, who now has a 14-14-4 record on the season. Tonight he takes on the Bruins for the second time this season, in the first meeting he allowed four goals on 38 shots in 5-2 loss.

Jonathan Bernier
Bergeron was given a maintenance day but will play tonight.

Bergeron was held out of the Bruins' morning skate, but will face the Maple Leafs tonight. Bergeron has been held off of the score sheet in his last three games, but had a five-game point streak prior to that. He has totalled 25 points (10G / 15A) with a plus-15 rating in 45 games.

Patrice Bergeron
Hamilton has a mild concussion and is "out for a bit" says head coach Claude Julien.

Hamilton missed practice for the second straight day, but now we know that he is dealing with a concussion that will keep him out of action tonight. Johnny Boychuk, who missed the last game with a personal issue, will draw back in for Hamilton.

Dougie Hamilton
Enroth is the first goalie off of the ice at Sabres' morning skate; expected to start vs. the Flyers.

Enroth stopped 34 of 35 shots in a 2-1 shootout loss to the Panthers on Thursday. With the Sabres playing in the first game of a back-to-back tonight, they will save Ryan Miller for the Maple Leafs on Wednesday. Tonight he faces a Flyers team who have struggled in their last two games (0-2-0 while being outscored 10-4). Enroth enters play tonight with a 1-8-4 record to go along with a 2.46 GAA and .916 SV%.

Jhonas Enroth
Rask was the first goalie off at the Bruins morning skate; expected to start vs. Toronto.

Rask shut the door on all 26 shots that he faced in a 1-0 victory over the Sharks on Saturday. This is evidence that when an elite goalie like Rask is struggling, you can't panic and you run with your big guns. He had allowed 17 goals in his previous five starts, but that can be forgotten after a strong performance like he had on Saturday. Tonight he is expected to face the Maple Leafs for the second time this season, he stopped 34 of 35 shots in a 3-1 win in November.

Tuukka Rask
Thomas gets his sixth straight start tonight vs. the Islanders.

Thomas gave up two goals on 36 shots in a 2-1 OT loss to the Devils on Saturday. Thomas was two seconds away from getting to the shootout when Marek Zidlicky pushed the game-winner by him. Thomas has stabilized the Panthers' net this season, without Thomas in the crease Florida is 6-10-4. In his last five starts Thomas is 2-1-2 with a 1.88 GAA and .940 SV%.

Grubauer was the first goalie off at the morning skate; expected to get his 12th start in the last 17 games.

The Penguins have recalled forward Nick Drazenovic from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Drazenovic, 26, currently places fifth on WBS with 20 points (7G / 13A) in 26 games this season. Last season the 6-foot, 192-pound Drazenovic split the campaign between the Columbus Blue Jackets and their top minor-league affiliate, the Springfield Falcons of the AHL. Drazenovic spent the majority of the ’12-13 season with Springfield, establishing career highs in assists (36) and points (53) in 62 regular-season games. His 53 points ranked second on the team and 17th in the AHL.

Bryzgalov gets the nod for the Oilers.

Bryzgalov gave up four goals on 29 shots in a loss to the Blues last Tuesday. Bryz has only one win in his last five starts while he has given up 19 goals and posted a .892 SV%. Tonight Bryz has a good chance to collect his fourth win of the season when he takes on a Stars team who have lost six straight.

Ilya Bryzgalov
Kuemper back in goal for the Wild.

Kuemper stopped all 23 shots that he faced in a 4-0 win over the Predators on Sunday. In two starts since being recalled, Kuemper has allowed one goal on 62 shots (0.48 GAA / .984 SV%). Despite how good Josh Harding has been this season, Kuemper and Niklas Backstrom are more than picking up the slack. Tonight Kuemper faces the Senators who have won five of their last six games.

Darcy Kuemper
No update on Paul Stastny (leg) today, but I’m hearing he’s OK. Might be questionable for Tuesday’s game, but we’ll know for sure tomorrow at practice.

Stastny was forced to leave the game after playing just 10:21 in Saturday's win over the Wild. Stastny has had a great season to-date and this would be a tough loss for the Avalanche to deal with. Since the calendar switched to 2014, Stastny has two goals and seven assists in six games. Monitor his status on Tuesday.
