Stone only skated for eight minutes this morning, but is still listed as a game-time decision. He is reportedly dealing with a micro fracture in his right wrist and he is expected to test it in pre-game warmups. Expect Stone to play if it is determined that he cannot do any further damage to the wrist.

Price gave up three goals on 36 shots in the Canadiens 4-3 win over the Senators in Game 1. Price has given up three goals in each of his last three games, but has won each of those games. Price will look to be even better tonight and give the Canadiens a 2-0 lead heading to Ottawa.

Parenteau missed Thursday’s practice and will be held out of game 2. With Parenteau out, Max Pacioretty could be back in the lineup or the Habs could go with seven defensemen. Parenteau is listed as day-to-day.

Pacioretty was in the morning skate, but will be a game-time decision tonight. With P.A Parenteau out with an upper-body injury, if Pacioretty isn’t available, the Canadiens could go with seven defensemen. Monitor Pacioretty’s status during pre-game warmups at 6:30 pm ET.

Lack allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Canucks 2-1 loss to the Flames in Game 1. The game-winning goal came with 30 seconds left in the third period and was a tough pill to swallow for Lack and the Canucks. He will look to get the series knotted up at home—Lack was 10-7-2 with a 2.26 GAA and .922 SV% at home.

Klingberg, 22, had 11 goals and 29 assists (40 points) in 65 games in his rookie season with the Stars. This contract has him locked in at $4.25 million per year through the 2012-22 season.

Grubauer has been recalled and will start Game 2 if Braden Holtby (illness) can’t play tonight. Grubauer has gone 27-17-5 with a 2.30 GAA and .921 SV% in 49 games with Hershey (AHL). Holtby is expected to get the nod, but Grubauer has been recalled as a precaution.

Wilson missed the final two games of the regular season and game 1 of the postseason, but he will replace Michael Latta in the lineup tonight for Game 2. He had four goals and 13 assists (17 points) in 67 games.

Philipp Grubauer has been recalled and will play in Game 2 if Holtby can’t go. Holtby gave up three goals on 26 shots in the Capitals 4-1 loss in Game 1. He is expected to be available tonight and he will look to back-stop Washington to a 1-1 tie in the series. Try to avoid in daily leagues because of his uncertainty.



Fleury lost four of five down the stretch, but posted a 28-save shutout on Saturday to get the Penguins in the playoffs. He went 34-20-9 with a 2.32 GAA and .920 SV% this season, but his playoff struggles have been well documented—he comes in with a 2.68 GAA and .905 SV% in his playoff career.


Kuemper did not skate on Wednesday or Thursday because of an illness, so he will not back-up in Game 1, instead that duty will go to Niklas Backstrom. Kuemper will likely be kept away from the team until he is healthy. The team can not afford to get sick in the playoffs.

Wisniewski, who was acquired from the Blue Jackets at the trade deadline, will be a healthy scratch for Game 1. This will be the second time in three games that he will sit in favour of Clayton Stoner.

Pouliot missed the final two games of the regular season and will be held out of game 1 of the playoffs because of an upper-body injury. Monitor his status prior to Game 2 on Saturday.

Ehrhoff will miss his 10th consecutive game with an upper-body injury, but he is expected to be close to a return, which leaves the possibility of him being back on the blue line for Game 2 on Saturday.

Pavelec won three of four and did not allow a goal in his last three starts before the playoffs. He has never played in a playoff game, but he has gotten hot at the perfect time. In two starts against the Ducks this season, Pavelec went 0-0-2 with a 3.82 GAA and .882 SV%.

Crawford was yanked after allowing three goals on 12 shots in the first period of Game 1. Despite Scott Darling coming in and stopping all 42 shots that he faced in the 4-3 double overtime win, the Blackhawks will go back to Crawford in Game 2. He will need a better showing tonight if he doesn’t want to lose his starting spot to Darling.
