The Penguins have recalled forward Nick Drazenovic from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Drazenovic, 26, currently places fifth on WBS with 20 points (7G / 13A) in 26 games this season. Last season the 6-foot, 192-pound Drazenovic split the campaign between the Columbus Blue Jackets and their top minor-league affiliate, the Springfield Falcons of the AHL. Drazenovic spent the majority of the ’12-13 season with Springfield, establishing career highs in assists (36) and points (53) in 62 regular-season games. His 53 points ranked second on the team and 17th in the AHL.

Bryzgalov gets the nod for the Oilers.

Bryzgalov gave up four goals on 29 shots in a loss to the Blues last Tuesday. Bryz has only one win in his last five starts while he has given up 19 goals and posted a .892 SV%. Tonight Bryz has a good chance to collect his fourth win of the season when he takes on a Stars team who have lost six straight.

Kuemper back in goal for the Wild.

Kuemper stopped all 23 shots that he faced in a 4-0 win over the Predators on Sunday. In two starts since being recalled, Kuemper has allowed one goal on 62 shots (0.48 GAA / .984 SV%). Despite how good Josh Harding has been this season, Kuemper and Niklas Backstrom are more than picking up the slack. Tonight Kuemper faces the Senators who have won five of their last six games.

Darcy Kuemper
No update on Paul Stastny (leg) today, but I’m hearing he’s OK. Might be questionable for Tuesday’s game, but we’ll know for sure tomorrow at practice.

Stastny was forced to leave the game after playing just 10:21 in Saturday's win over the Wild. Stastny has had a great season to-date and this would be a tough loss for the Avalanche to deal with. Since the calendar switched to 2014, Stastny has two goals and seven assists in six games. Monitor his status on Tuesday.

Khudobin leads the Hurricanes out for pregame warmups.

Khudobin gave up three goals on 24 shots in a 3-0 loss to the Blue Jackets on Friday. It was his first loss since returning from an ankle injury, he is 4-1-0 with a 1.99 GAA and .939 SV% in his last five starts. He should make for a great start against a Flames team who have lost seven of his last eight games while being outscored 26-6.

The Maple Leafs have recalled Peter Holland from Toronto (AHL).

When playing in the Maple Leafs top-6, Holland was producing at a pretty consistent clip, however he has been skating on the fourth line for his last four games with Toronto which handicaps his value and production. That is likely where Holland will find himself on Tuesday vs. Boston, because he isn't about to overtake Tyler Bozak or Nazem Kadri on the top two lines.

Peter Holland
Neil (lower-body) is a game-time decision for Tuesday.

Neil has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury that he suffered on December 30. He could be ready to return to the lineup on Tuesday, but we likely won't know until pre-game warmups. Fantasy owners in need of PIMs help should take a look at Neil, who ranks fifth in the NHL with 99 sin-bin minutes.

Chris Neil
Dalpe will skate on a line with Henrik and Daniel Sedin tonight.

Dalpe has averaged only 6:22 TOI in 29 games this year, but played a season-high 14:15 in Friday's game vs. St. Louis. He scored his second goal of the season in that game, he now has four points (2G / 2A) on the season. He could be an interesting, cheap option in one-day leagues, but likely doesn't have any legitimate value in standard leagues.

Zac Dalpe
The Buffalo Sabres could have forward Drew Stafford back in the lineup before the end of the week.

Stafford went through practice this morning in First Niagara Center wearing a red non-contact jersey. Stafford has missed the past three games after suffering an upper-body injury against the Minnesota Wild on January 2. "I think it's more a day-to-day kind of thing," Stafford said. "I had a really long day today, a hard-working day, so we'll see how it responds later today and tomorrow morning. That's pretty much where we're at." Stafford has four goals and nine assists in 41 games this season.

Lapierre did not practice Monday after leaving Friday's game in Vancouver with an apparent lower-body injury.

Lapierre was the recipient of a hit late in the game by the Canucks' Dan Hamhuis. Hitchcock said that Lapierre did not return. "Don't know yet (about Lapierre's status)," head coach Ken Hitchcock said. "He took that hit late in the game, that low hit there. He's been exercising full, but not able to skate on a full-time basis. So we'll evaluate him tomorrow and see if he can play tomorrow." The fourth line in Monday's practice was made up of Brenden Morrow, Ryan Reaves and Adam Cracknell.

Maxim Lapierre
Defenseman Roman Polak (ankle) was a full participant in Monday's practice and could make his return to the lineup Tuesday.

Polak has missed the last 10 games with a partially fractured left ankle. "I think I'm pretty close," Polak said. "I think I have the green light to go. I don't know when ... if it's going to be tomorrow, the day after. I'm going to do whatever I can to get back in the lineup and we'll see what the coaches decide." Head coach Ken Hitchcock said that Polak will be re-evaluated Tuesday morning.

Roman Polak
Brodeur starts vs. the Habs on Tuesday.

Brodeur took a seat for the last three Devils games, but in his last start he allowed three goals on 28 shots in a loss to the Flyers. 2014 has gotten off to a gloomy start for the 41-year-old, he is 0-1-1 with a 3.97 GAA and .846 SV% in his first two starts of the New Year.

Martin Brodeur
Halak will start against the Coyotes on Tuesday.

Halak stopped all 33 shots that he faced in a 5-0 win over the Flames on Thursday. After Brian Elliott dominated the NHL for a week, Halak returned with a dominating performance of his own. The first time he played against Phoenix, he allowed three goals on 19 shots in a 3-2 OT loss.
