The Panthers have recalled Drew Shore from San Antonio (AHL).

Shore has no points in two games with Florida this season. With San Antonio he has yet to record a goal but has 15 assists in 28 games. His recall suggests that Scottie Upshall (upper-body) will not play tonight.

Drew Shore
Rask was the first goalie off at the Bruins morning skate; he is expected to start.

Rask stopped 32 of 34 shots in a win over the Predators on Monday. It was his third consecutive win and fifth in his last six starts. Rask has been great in December posting a 5-2-0 record with a 1.80 GAA and .939 SV%. He will face the Sens for the second time, in the first he gave up four goals on 31 shots in 4-2 loss.

Tuukka Rask
Quick (groin) remains on schedule to return during first week of January.

Quick has been sidelined with a grade-2 groin strain since November 12 but should be back in the crease in the New Year. Quick's absence has been dealt with nicely with Ben Scrivens and Martin Jones playing extremely well. Since Quick went down the Kings are 15-4-4 which has allowed him to fully heal without any worry.

Jonathan Quick
Brodeur gets the call in goal for New Jersey.

Brodeur allowed four goals on 22 shots but still earned the victory over the Capitals on Saturday. Brodeur has won three consecutive starts while posting a 2.00 GAA and .925 SV%. He will look to get revenge tonight when he faces the Blue Jackets for the first time since he allowed five goals in a 5-4 loss on December 10.

Martin Brodeur
Laich will not play tonight.

Laich played on Monday after missing nearly one month with a groin injury, but won't play tonight. Laich was on the ice for the morning skate but will be held out of the lineup tonight vs. New York while Aaron Volpatti will likely slide into the lineup.

Brooks Laich
Grubauer starts for the Capitals.

Grubauer stopped 26 of 29 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Ducks on Monday. Since his recall, Grubauer has started five of 10 games and has replaced Braden Holtby twice. He has posted a 4-1-1 record with a 2.20 GAA and .934 SV% so far. The Bruins have recalled goaltender Niklas Svedberg from Providence (AHL).

Svedberg has appeared in 20 games for the Providence this season, racking up an 11-5-3 record with a 2.91 GAA, .907 SV% and one shutout.? The 24-year-old netminder has played in a total of 68 games for Providence since joining the team in 2012, earning a career 48-13-5 AHL record. The 2012-13 campaign with the P-Bruins saw Svedberg win 37 games (2nd in the AHL) with a 2.17 GAA (5th), .925 SV% (3rd) and four shutouts to earn himself the Aldege “Baz” Bastien Memorial Award, which is given annually to the AHL’s outstanding goaltender.

Niklas Svedberg
Harding is back with the Wild after being off to receive treatment for multiple sclerosis.

Harding has been excellent in the first (almost) half of the season. He has started the season 18-5-3 with a 1.51 GAA and .939 SV%. There is no word if he will jump right back into the net tonight vs. Winnipeg or if Niklas Backstrom will make one more start.

The Wild have recalled Stephane Veilleux from Iowa (AHL).

With Zach Parise nursing a lower-body injury, the Wild have recalled Veilleux, who skated in his 11th game this season on Monday. He has no points and a minus-5 rating this season.

Stephane Veilleux
Russell (knee) is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.

Russell has a second degree MCL sprain and won't return until late January or early February. This is a terrible break for the Flames as Russell has been one of their better defenseman this season. He has totalled four goals and 12 assists (16 points) in 36 games. Christopher Breen is expected to play full-time for the first time in his NHL career while Russell is out.

Kris Russell
Ericsson suffered two fractured ribs in Monday's 3-0 loss to the New York Islanders at Joe Louis Arena and will be out three-to-five weeks, general manager Ken Holland said.

Ericsson is severe blow to the already decimated Wings' lineup. If you were relying on him for fantasy purposes, consider that Jakub Kindl will received increased playing time, but you can probably find better options on your waiver wire.

Jonathan Ericsson
Jones leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups; he starts.

Jones stopped 23 of 25 to earn his eighth straight win on Saturday. The streak continues as he moved to 8-0-0 with a 0.98 GAA and .966 SV% to start his NHL career. He will take on the Stars at home tonight, Jones has given up just three goals in four starts in L.A.

Martin Jones
Rask leads the Bruins onto the ice for warmups; he starts.

Rask stopped 34 of 35 shots in a 4-1 win over the Sabres on Saturday. He has won four of his last five starts while allowing just eight goals in that span. He takes on the Predators and their 25th ranked offence tonight - he is a must start.
