Crosby was a late scratch on Saturday, but he is on the ice for warmups, so it looks like he will play today vs. Detroit.

Hammond stopped 34 of 35 shots in the Senators 2-1 win over the Islanders on Friday. He made 61 saves on 64 shots (.953 SV%) while winning both games of the Senators back-to-back. Where did this guy come from? 10 games into his NHL career, he is 9-0-1 with a 1.44 GAA and .954 SV%. Is this real?

Weiss will be a healthy scratch for the third time in the last four games. With Weiss out, Tomas Jurco will be back in the lineup after missing Saturday’s game.

Crosby was a late scratch from Saturday’s game and is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Red Wings. Monitor his status during warmups.

Malkin was injured in yesterday’s game against the Bruins and will be held out of today’s game vs. the Red Wings. The injury is not believed to be serious, so consider him day-to-day.

Dubinsky missed the last two games with an illness, but he will be back in the lineup tonight. Corey Tropp will be bumped back to the fourth line and Luke Adam, who was sent to Springfield yesterday, will obviously come out.

Bobrovsky allowed four goals on 35 shots in the Blue Jackets shootout win over the Oilers on Friday. Goalie Bob has won three in a row while posting a 2.53 GAA and .927 SV%. Tonight he gets the call at home vs. Carolina—Bob is 9-9-2 with a 2.89 GAA and .911 SV% at Nationwide Arena this season.

James Reimer got the nod last night and was absolutely lit up by the Flames. So Bernier will start tonight, coming off of a 30-save performance in the Leafs 4-3 shootout win over the Sabres on Wednesday. Bernier is 2-2-1 with a 3.59 GAA and .904 SV% in his last five outings.

Dubnyk allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Wild’s 2-1 loss to the Ducks last night. This dude must not get tired because they refuse to take him out of the net. He is 19-5-1 with a 1.69 GAA and .937 SV% in the 26 consecutive starts prior to today. At this point, it is hard not to recommend starting him, but on back-to-back nights, on the road against a good Blues team…I’d be a little worried about this one.

After being sent down in late February, Mrazek went 6-0-1 with a 1.13 GAA, .962 SV% and three shutouts. He is having a remarkable season, having gone 13-5-1 with a 2.55 GAA and .909 SV% with the Red Wings this season. His last NHL start came against the Penguins (who he faces today) and he was pulled after allowing four goals on 17 shots.

Niemi stopped all 35 shots that he faced in the Sharks 2-0 shutout win over the Predators on Thursday. It was his 27th win and fifth shutout of the season for Niemi. Today would mark his third start of the season vs. the Blackhawks—he has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.02 GAA and .940 SV% in in the first two.

Fleury allowed four goals on 29 shots in the Penguins 6-4 win against the Oilers on Thursday. He has gone 3-1-1 with a 2.17 GAA and .920 SV% in March. With Thomas Greiss starting yesterday, the Red Wings will see Fleury this afternoon. He made 23 saves in a 4-1 win vs. Detroit in mid-February.

Stoll did not practice on Friday and was not on the ice for the Kings morning skate, so he will not play tonight. Stoll is listed as day-to-day and will be replaced by Andy Andreoff.

Ward allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Hurricanes 4-3 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets on Tuesday. He was given Thursday night off, but he will start tonight vs. Florida. Ward has gone 11-7-4 with a 1.97 GAA and .922 SV% at home this season.

Myers will miss at least one game because of an upper-body injury that he suffered on Thusday. Myers will be replaced by Paul Postma and is questionable for Tuesday’s game.

Ramo allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Flames win over the Ducks on Wednesday. Ramo has won three of his last four games despite posting a 3.38 GAA and .907 SV%. He made 26 saves in a 4-3 OT win over the Avalanche in his first start vs. Colorado.

Michalek missed the first five games after being acquired from the Coyotes at the deadline. He has not played since February 14th because of a concussion, but will make his Blues debut tonight on the second pair with Jay Bouwmeester.

Crosby was in the pre-game warmup, but determined he could not play after being submitted in the starting lineup. Crosby is day-to-day with an undisclosed injury and questionable for Sunday’s game.
