Rask stopped 17 of 19 shots in a win over the Rangers last Friday. He was given Saturday night off so has had six days off since his last start and should be well rested for tonight's contest. Niemi stopped 28 of 30 shots to earn his sixth straight win on Tuesday. During his six-game winning streak he has recorded a 1.95 GAA and .934 SV%. It was his 16th win which ranks him second in the NHL, one behind Corey Crawford. He catches a break tonight with Evegeni Malkin not dressing for the Penguins.
Seguin reportedly skated really hard for 45 minutes on Wednesday and is practicing again this morning, so there is definitely a chance that Seguin could return tonight. It is a big game for Seguin, who has a lot of history with the Maple Leafs and he is from nearby Brampton, Ontario. Monitor his status prior to puck-drop.
