Hurricanes Kirk Muller confirms Semin will rejoin the Hurricanes line up tonight. Says he will watch and see how to work him in given he's been out so long.

Semin has not played since November 16 against the Blues. Prior to getting concussed he has three goals and six assists in 20 games. Expect the Hurricanes to ease him back into action. Semin still possesses one of the NHL's best wrist shots and is a threat to scored whenever he is on the ice. He is only owned in 74% of Yahoo! leagues so if he is available in your league, he would definitely be worth an add.

Alexander Semin
Lehtonen will be in net for the Stars.

Lehtonen allowed four goals on 19 shots before being pulled eight minutes into the second period in a loss to Chicago on Tuesday. Lehtonen has struggled lately only winning once in his last seven starts. He draws a solid matchup against a low-scoring Nashville team (2.29 G/PG).

The Wild have recalled forward Brett Bulmer from Iowa (AHL).

Bulmer has recorded 12 points (9G / 3A), 20 penalty minutes and three power-play goals in 21 games with Iowa this season. He leads the team in goals and shots (62) and ranks third in scoring. The 6-foot-4, 212-pound forward tallied seven points (4G / 3A) and 41 PIM in 43 contests with Houston last season.

Brett Bulmer
Jeff Petry (head) is good to go for tonight vs. Boston after receiving medical clearance, consisting of both physical and mental tests.

Petry missed Tuesday's game with a head injury. He will return to the lineup tonight on the Oilers third pair with Anton Belov. He has two goals and four assists with a minus-10 rating in 30 games.

Jeff Petry
Pavelec starts for the Jets.

Pavelec gave up two goals on 20 shots in a loss to the Blues on Tuesday. It was a strong outing against a good St. Louis team, but the Jets could not put enough past Brian Elliott. At home this season, Pavelec is 5-7-2 with a 2.99 and .904 SV%.

Ondrej Pavelec
Poulin will start for the Islanders.

Poulin stopped 46 of 48 shots in a win over the San Jose Harks on Tuesday. It was a fantastic outing for Poulin who lost his previous six starts. He gets the nod again tonight against a Phoenix team who have the fifth highest scoring offence.

Kevin Poulin
Head Coach Dave Tippett says Mike Smith will start in goal tonight vs Islanders.

Smith told the Coyotes that he is back to 100% after being a late scratch for Tuesday's contest. He will get the call against a struggling Islanders team. In his first starts vs. the Isles he was pulled after 40 minutes when he gave up five goals on 20 shots. Expect a stronger outing this time around.

Mike Smith
Danny DeKeyser said he feels good, getting closer to return. He is Eligible to come off LTIR Saturday but said it'll still be a few more days.

DeKeyser's return will be huge for the Red Wings. He was fantastic offensively and defensively in his first 22 games of the season. He has not played since November 19, but could be back in the lineup next Tuesday vs. Anaheim or Thursday vs. Calgary.

Dan DeKeyser
Tuukka Rask made 26 saves against the Flames for his 16th win. He's 3-0-0 with a 1.67 goals-against average in his career against Edmonton, though his availability for this game is uncertain as he missed practice Wednesday with the flu.

If Rask can't start, Chad Johnson would get the call against the Oilers.

Tuukka Rask
Cody Hodgson will miss tonight's game against Senators with lower-body injury.

Ville Leino will draw into the lineup with Hodgson out. Hodgson had seven goals and nine assists (16 points) in his first 22 games but has registered just one goal and one assist in his last nine games. Consider him day-to-day.

Cody Hodgson
Howard will have an MRI on his knee to determine the nature and severity of the injury.

The Red Wings said on Wednesday that they don't believe Howard's injury is serious, but we will find out for sure after the MRI. Jonas Gustavsson will take over as the number-1 with Petr Mrazek as his backup until Howard is ready to return. Howard said he's hoping he's out only 1-2 weeks but not sure until MRI tomorrow.
