Morris (lower-body) is questionable for Saturday.

Morris was injured in Tuesday's contest with the Canucks and missed Wednesday vs. Anaheim. Morris, like many of the other Coyotes defenseman has been off to a strong start. He has four goals and six assists (10 points) in 14 games. Monitor his status following Saturday's morning skate.

According to head coach Bob Hartley, Karri Ramo will start tonight.

Ramo stopped 18 of 21 shots he faced in a loss to the Maple Leafs on October 30. He was promptly given the next four games off as Reto Berra was recalled from the AHL. It hasn't exactly been smooth sailing for Ramo in his return to the NHL. He is 2-3-1 with a 3.49 GAA and .888 SV% and faces the 12-2-0 Avalanche tonight.

Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau said Viktor Fasth (lower-body) will "full-on" practice tomorrow.

Fasth made a brief appearance following the Ducks game-day skate this morning but is expected to be a full participant tomorrow. He will miss his 12th straight game tonight and it will be interesting where Fasth figures into the Ducks goalie situation. Frederik Andersen is 4-0 with a 1.36 GAA and .952 SV% since Fasth was sidelined.

Burns (face) is on the ice with the Sharks in a no-contact jersey.

Burns continues to practice, but has yet to shed the "don't hit me jersey". There is still no timetable for Burns return, but until he gets rid of that no-contact jersey he should be considered out. Monitor his status prior to Sunday's contest but it does not look promising.

The Red Wings have reassigned Adam Almqvist to Grand Rapids (AHL).

Almqvist scored his first career NHL goal on Thursday vs. Dallas. On top of the goal he was a minus-1 while averaging over 17 minutes in two games with the Red WIngs.

Adam Almqvist
The Red WIngs have recalled Luke Glendening from Grand Rapids (AHL).

Glendening has no points and a minus-2 rating in six games with the Red Wings this season. He has split time between the NHL and AHL, he has three goals and three assists in eight games with Grand Rapids. The Wings are dealing with injuries down the middle right now, Glendening could see his most playing time of the season tomorrow in Tampa Bay.

Luke Glendening
Howard gets the nod tomorrow vs. Tampa Bay.

Howard was two minutes away from his sixth win of the season when Cody Eakin tied it up on the power-play. Dallas ended up taking it in overtime after Howard stopped 24 of 28. He has a tough matchup tomorrow vs. the red-hot Steven Stamkos and the Lightning.

Jimmy Howard
Clayton Stoner (leg) is getting treatment after leaving Thursday's game and not returning.

Stoner was injured in a collision in the first period last night. He tried to stay out for another shift, before calling it quits and retiring to the dressing room. Stoner is questionable for tomorrow.

The Washington Capitals have re-signed left wing Jason Chimera to a two-year contract extension. Chimera will earn $2.0 million per year from 2014-15 through the 2015-16 season.

Chimera, 34, has recorded 11 points (five goals, six assists) and 10 penalty minutes in 16 games this season. Chimera has registered 107 points (45 goals, 62 assists) and 251 penalty minutes in 265 career games with Washington. The 6’3”, 216-pound forward has played in 726 career regular-season games with Edmonton, Columbus and Washington, recording 279 points (126 goals, 153 assists)

Rookie Frederik Andersen looks like the man in net for Anaheim.

Andersen gave up one goal on 33 shots in a win over the Rangers on Monday. He has been excellent since filling in for Viktor Fasth as the Ducks second goalie. Andersen is 4-0-0 with a 1.36 GAA and .952 SV% and has great matchup 3-13-1 Sabres making a stop in Anaheim tonight.

Frederik Andersen
Crawford starts for the Blackhawks tomorrow.

Crawford allowed one goal on 25 shots in an easy win over the Jets on Wednesday. Crawford has won eight of his last 10 starts with a 1.96 GAA and .928 SV%, solidifying himself near the top of fantasy hockey goalie rankings. He has a difficult matchup against the speedy Stars who have won three straight.

Corey Crawford
Yakupov rotating in on the fourth line with Ryan Jones in Edmonton practice.

The Oilers line rushes this morning suggest Yakupov will either play on the fourth line with Luke Gazdic and Ryan Smyth or will be a healthy scratch on Saturday. He has struggled to one goal and two assists with a minus-14 rating in 15 games. The 2012 first overall pick had a solid rookie season (31 pts in 48 games) but has yet to follow that up with anything fantasy relevant this year.

Nail Yakupov
Duchene (foot) is on the ice for Avalanche game-day skate.

Duchene missed Thursday's practice with a sore foot after blocking a shot on Wednesday. The general feeling was that Duchene would be fine to play tonight, so this is not surprise. Reports are the he is skating well this morning. Duchene has had a torrid start to the season scoring 10 goals and adding seven assists (17 points) in 14 games.
