Stoner injured his leg last Thursday and missed Saturday's contest. He returns to the lineup with three assists and a plus-6 rating in 16 games.

Backstrom allowed five goals on 28 shots in his last start on October 28. He has clearly lost the starting gig to Harding, but will get the nod tonight vs. an injury depleted Maple Leafs squad.

Dumont failed to record a point in two games with the Candiens. He returns to Hamilton where he has four assists and 20 penalty minutes in 12 games.

Pateryn did not appear in a contest with the Habs. He returns to the Hamilton Bulldogs where he has three goals and four assists in seven games.

Harding gave up two goals on 29 shots in a win over the Hurricanes on Saturday. It was his sixth win in his last seven starts and his ninth of the season. Harding's 1.22 GAA leads the NHL while his .945 SV% is good for second. He has a decent match-up vs. an injury depleted Maple Leafs team tonight.

If Quick is sent back to L.A he won't be starting tomorrow vs. the Islanders and could miss Friday's game against the Devils as well. We will await an official word from the Kings.

Quick stretched to make a save in the extra-frame and then slid back and hit his leg off of the post. Quick stayed down clearly in pain. Quick had an easy night before getting injured, he allowed two goals on 17 shots. Ben Scrivens replaced Quick in overtime and was not forced to make a save. The game went to a shootout where the Sabres scored two of three shots on Scrivens to win 3-2. There is no word one the nature or severity of Quick’s injury but it had the look of a groin injury. He will be evaluated tomorrow and more details will be released.

Kundratek had one goal and six assists in 25 games with the Capitals last season. This year he had one goal in seven games with the Hershey Bears (AHL).

There is no timetable for Stamkos' return.

Bishop allowed two goals on 27 shots in an OT win over the Red Wings on Saturday. It was his fourth consecutive win and his league leading 11th of the season. Tonight he faces a Canadiens team who have lost four of their last five. It could become tougher for Bishop to win games with Steven Stamkos out of the lineup.

Brown was the 36th overall pick in 2009 - he appeared in three games with Phoenix earlier in the season without recording a point. Brown registered three goals and five assists in 10 games with Portland. He will dress on the Coyotes fourth line this evening.

Morris had already been ruled out for tonight's contest, but the move to IR allowed the Coyotes to recall Chris Brown without sending anyone down. Morris is eligible to return as soon as tomorrow, so he could be in the lineup on Thursday vs. Chicago.

Stuart sat on Sunday as a healthy scratch but will return to the lineup tonight vs. Calgary. He has recorded three assists and a plus-1 rating while averaging 19:19 TOI in 11 games.

This will be the fourth time in the last five game that Irwin has been scratched since Dan Boyle has returned to the Sharks blueline. He has three assists in 14 games this season.

Price has had a strong start to the season posting a 2.20 GAA and .929 SV% in 15 starts. Tonight he catches a break with the Lightning playing their first game without Steven Stamkos.

Booth had one assist and a minus-1 rating in three games with Utica. He will return to the Canucks where he has one goal and two assists in 11 games. In his three years in Vancouver he has had a hard time staying healthy and has only been able to muster 35 points (18G / 17A) in 79 games. Booth should be in the lineup on Thursday.

Hurricanes head coach Kirk Muller said yesterday that Skinner is still a couple of weeks away. However, practicing on Friday would be a positive step in his recovery and he could potentially return sooner than two weeks if all goes well.

Weiss will miss at least the next three games (Tonight, Friday and Saturday). He could be back on Tuesday vs. the Predators. Weiss has struggled early with the Red Wings, he has two goals and one assist in 17 games.
