Quick has been sent back to Los Angeles and Martin Jones has been recalled from Manchester. Quick will be evaluated in L.A and then a timetable will be released.
There were unconfirmed reports that it was a broken foot but Darryl Sutter confirmed it today. A timetable for Carter's return was not given, but he has been ruled out for the remaining three games of their road trip. When a timeframe is released we will update Carter's status.
Greene was in injured in a contest against the Predators on November 2. The upper-body injury will keep him out of the Kings lineup for an extended period of time, but is unrelated to back surgery he had last season.
Pearson, 21, made his NHL debut in Game 3 of the second round series between Los Angeles and San Jose and appears to be capable of providing value to the Kings, who selected him with the final pick of the first round of the 2012 NHL Draft. In 15 games with Manchester this season, the 6-foot, 205 pound forward has recorded 11 points (7-4=11) in 15 games while taking 52 shots.
With Jonathan Quick injured and heading back to Los Angeles, Jones will meet the team in New York for tomorrow's contest vs. the Islanders. Jones is 9-2-2 with a 2.24 GAA and .927 SV% with Manchester.
Moore missed the last seven games, but the depth forward will be back on Saturday. He had one assist and a minus-5 rating in 11 games.
Nash will travel with the Rangers to Montreal after he skates tomorrow morning. It is highly unlikely that he plays on Saturday or Sunday but he could rejoin the lineup next week. Continue to monitor this situation.
The Blackhawks continue to search for someone to fill their second line centre role. With Handzus missing the last eight games, Brandon Pirri has filled the role - he's posted one goal and three assists in that span.
Hansen missed the last nine games but should return to the lineup shortly. His original timetable was 3-4 weeks and it has been 22 days so his return is just around the corner and could possibly play on Thursday. Hansen had two goals and two assists in 11 games.
Reinhart played two games, averaging 11:04 TOI with the Flames. He failed to record a point but he returns to Abbotsford where he has three goals and six assists in 13 games.
Bobrovsky gave up four goals on 34 shots in an overtime loss to the Capitals on Tuesday. Bobrovsky has lost four of his last five starts and will be in tough Thursday when Columbus takes on the Bruins. His 2.84 GAA and .909 SV% do not have the look of a Vezina Trophy winner.
Berra surrendered three tallies on 35 shots in an OT loss to the Sharks on Tuesday. It would have been a blow out if it wasn't for Berra, he kept his team in it and they forced the extra frame. Thursday he faces the Stars who will be in their second game of a back-to-back.
Crawford allowed four goals on 23 but still walked away the winner on Sunday. He has won three straight and six of his last seven. Crawford and the Blackhawks are hot right now, roll him vs. the Coyotes.
Hiller missed his start on Thursday because of an illness but will get the nod this Thursday vs. Tampa Bay. The Lightning were able to win their first game without Steve Stamkos, but Anaheim is the NHL's top team, Hiller should make for a good start.
Bernier allowed one goal on 35 shots in a win over the Devils last Friday. The Maple Leafs continue to get outshot on a nightly basis, but the tandem on Bernier and James Reimer have stood tall. Tonight he faces a tough 10-4-4 Wild team.
Lehtonen allowed four goals on 30 shots in Saturday's loss to the Blackhawks. The loss broke a three game winning streak but was only his third regulation loss of the season. Since returning from his lower-body injury on October 24 he has won five of nine starts with a 2.35 GAA and .920 SV% - he should make fora solid start tonight vs. Edmonton.
Dubnyk was in tough on Sunday vs. Chicago and allowed five goals on 31 shots in the loss. He has now lost three straight with a 4.08 GAA and .874 SV%, something he will need to fix if he doesn't want to lose his job to the recently signed Ilya Bryzgalov. Dubnyk has a fairly tough matchup vs. the speedy Stars tonight.
Emery allowed two goals on 24 shots in a loss to New Jersey last Thursday. After being expected to battle for the starting job at the start of the season, Emery is the clear number-2 in Philadelphia. He has a tough matchup tonight vs. Pittsburgh, making it hard to warrant him as a spot start option.
Fleury surrendered two goals on 32 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Blues on Saturday. It was his second straight loss and moved him to 10-4-0 with a 2.07 GAA and .921 SV% on the season. Tonight he takes on a Flyers team who are on the tail-end of a back-to-back.
Prust has been out of the Canadiens lineup since October 19 and has missed the last 11 games. He will bring more physicality and grit to the Habs lineup. Prust had two goals and one assist in eight games before getting hurt. He will play in either Friday's game at Columbus or Saturday when the Candiens host the Rangers.
