Kulemin (ankle) has been activated from IR.

Kulemin was expected to suit up up tonight and being removed from IR confirms that report. Kulemin was injured in the second game of the season and has missed the Leafs last 12 contests. He had two assists in the first two contests and bolsters and already strong lineup even further.

Taylor Hall, now skating with a brace on his left knee, will travel with Oilers out east (Nov 5-10). He expects he could be back before end of the four-game trip.

Hall will miss his sixth straight game with the knee injury that he suffered on October 19th vs. Ottawa. Hall has battled injuries throughout his career, but hopefully he can turn the corner to good health following his return from the latest injury. Monitor his status throughout the week.

Taylor Hall
Pavelec starts vs. Blackhawks.

Pavelec gave up three goals on 33 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Blues on Tuesday. It was a heart-breaking loss for the Jets, as Alex Steen lifted one by Pavelec with one minute left in regulation. After a four-game road trip the Jets are back in Winnipeg today, but Pavelec draws a tough assignment against the Blackhawks.

Ondrej Pavelec
Niemi starts for the Sharks.

Niemi allowed more than three goals for the first time this season on Wednesday. He gave up four goals on 23 shots in loss to the Kings. He will face the Coyotes tonight, who he held to one goal on 23 shots in a win back on October 5. He is a must-start in all formats, regardless of matchup right now.

Lundqvist gets the nod for the Rangers.

Lundqvist stopped all 29 shots that he faced as he shutout the Sabres on Thursday. This is the 'King Henrik' we have grown accustomed to seeing over the years, hopefully his early season struggles are behind him. He has a solid matchup tonight when the Rangers take on the 4-6-3 Hurricanes who have lost four straight.

Henrik Lundqvist
Bachman starts for Oilers.

After an impressive Oilers debut, Bachman regressed in his second start giving up four goals on 26 shots in a 4-0 loss to the Maple Leafs on Thursday. He has another tough matchup tonight against the Red Wings, who have won both of their games on their Western Canada road trip so far.

Richard Bachman
Eriksson (concussion) skated with a no-contact jersey with the Bruins for the first time since being injured.

Eriksson will miss his fifth straight game after being concussed on a hit by John Scott on October 23. "To see him out there, continuing to progress is encouraging...but we're not out of the woods yet until he's cleared to play," said Bruins head coach Claude Julien.

Loui Eriksson
Johnson will in fact start for the Bruins tonight.

In his first start this season he had it easy. Johnson took on the Sabres, who only threw 16 shots his way - Johnson stopped 14 of them in a 5-2 win. Tonight he would take on the Islanders who fired 57 shots at Robin Lehner last night.

Chad Johnson
Couple subtle hints it's Reimer vs. Canucks tonight but no declarations from either, plus no game-day skate adds to the guessing game.

This is from a reporter who was speaking with Jonathan Bernier and James Reimer, looks like we will have to wait until pre-game warmups. If it is Reimer, he is 2-0 with a 0.50 GAA and .988 SV% with a shutout in his last two starts. The Maple Leafs have the best problem right now with both their netminders playing at a high level. Reimer has a 1.99 GAA and .949 SV% on the season, but has a tough mathchup vs. the red-hot Sedin's and the Canucks tonight.

James Reimer
Chad Johnson first off at morning skate, indicating he could get the start tonight vs the Islanders.

The Bruins do not have a back-to-back so it would be surprising if Johnson starts over Rask. That being said, the goalie who leaves the ice first gets the start the vast majority of the time - so it looks like it will be Johnson. In his first start this season he had it easy. He took on the Sabres, who only threw 16 shots his way - Johnson stopped 14 of them in a 5-2 win. Tonight he would take on the Islanders who fired 57 shots at Robin Lehner last night.

The Jets are expected to go with Pavelec vs.

The Oilers have placed David Perron on IR retroactive to October 27.

Perron was scheduled to have an MRI on his neck on Friday, so the illness he was dealing with seems to have passed, but now he is dealing with a neck injury. He will miss his second straight game tonight when the Oilers take on the Red Wings. He is eligible to return for Edmonton's next game, Tuesday vs. Florida.

David Perron
The Predators said forward Matt Hendricks (upper-body) will not accompany the team to Los Angeles for today’s game against the Kings. He is being re-evaluated, and Nashville will have an update today.

Hendricks was hurt Thursday when he was hit by Coyotes defenseman Derek Morris and his head slammed the ice.

Matt Hendricks
Quick is the projected Kings starter tonight.

On Wednesday, Quick gave up three goals on 20 shots but still walked away with the overtime win against the Sharks. The win was his eighth of the season to go along with a 2.56 GAA and .903 SV%. His numbers are still not where his owners would like them, but he should make for a good start tonight vs. Nashville.
