Bryzgalov stopped 14 of 15 shots in the Ducks win over the Devils on January 16th. Since signing with the Ducks, he has gone 1-2-0 with a 3.70 GAA and .854 SV%. Tonight he will face the Sharks, which would leave Frederik Andersen for Friday vs. the Blackhawks.

Lupul has not played since December 31st, but will return to the lineup tonight vs. the Coyotes. The Maple Leafs offence has been a disaster as of late, but Lupul should provide a much needed spark tonight. He has 17 points (9G / 8A) in 26 games this season.

The Panthers recalled Alex Petrovic from San Antonio (AHL) so they have placed Olsen on waivers with the intention on sending him to San Antonio while Petrovic is with the big-club.

The Ducks put Robak on waivers to make room to activate Eric Brewer from injured reserve. Robak has just one assist in five games since becoming a Duck.

Galiardi has bounced in an out of the lineup this season. He has served as a healthy scratch in six of the last eight games and has just one goal in 26 games this season. He has been placed on waivers with the intention of sending him to St. John’s (AHL).

Severson has been out since December 15th because of a hairline fracture in his ankle. He was only supposed to miss 4-5 weeks, but he is already six and a half weeks removed from the injury. It sounds like it will end up being about eight or nine weeks from the date of injury.

Vitale left Tuesday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return. B.J Crombeen will re-enter the lineup with Vitale out. He is day-to-day.

Tarasov, 23, has registered 10 goals and 15 assists (25 points) in 41 games with Worcester. With Tyler Kennedy out, Tarasov has been recalled and could make his NHL debut during his call-up.

Tonight would mark his ninth start this month and it will be his fifth start vs. Anaheim. He has gone 3-0-1 with a 1.99 GAA and .938 SV% in the first four meetings.

Dumba, 20, who played his junior hockey in Red Deer, Alberta, is expected to play tonight in nearby Calgary. Dumba has five points (2G / 3A) in 23 games with Minnesota. With his time in Iowa, he has collected 14 points (5G / 9A) in 20 games.

Suter missed Wednesday’s practice due to general soreness, but he is on the ice this afternoon and it looks like he will play vs. the Flames.

Dubnyk stopped 23 of 24 shots in the Wild’s 2-1 victory in Edmonton on Tuesday. He has played well since coming to Minnesota, going 3-1-0 with a 2.04 GAA and .911 SV% in five starts. Tonight he faces a Calgary team who have won five of their last six while outscoring their opponents 18-12.

Price gave up two goals on 42 shots in the Canadiens 3-2 win over Dallas on Tuesday. Price has won three in a row while posting a 1.63 GAA and .947 SV%. Tonight will be a battle between to of the NHL’s hottest goaltenders when Price goes head-to-head with Henrik Lundqvist. Price is 10-5-1 with a 2.22 GAA and .926 SV% on the road.

Scrivens allowed three goals on 19 shots in the Oilers loss to the Lightning on January 15th. Viktor Fasth has started the last three games, but it will be Scrivens tonight vs. the Sabres. Scrivens 3.05 GAA and .895 SV% on the year show he is a risky start, but he draws a great matchup that can allow you to consider using him tonight.

The Ducks placed Colby Robak on waivers this afternoon to clear room for Brewer to be activated from injured reserve. Brewer won’t play tonight vs. Sharks, but he could be back in the lineup on Friday vs. Chicago.

Rinne was on the ice for the Predators game day skate and took shots for the first time since spraining his knee on January 13th. He is two and a half weeks into a 3-5 week timeline, which is a good sign that Rinne should return at the front-end of his original timetable.

Schneider allowed one goal on 30 shots in the Devils 2-1 shootout win over the Maple Leafs on Wednesday. Schneider has gone 5-1-0 with a 1.88 GAA and .937 SV% in seven starts in January. It has been a strong month, but he has a tough matchup with the Penguins in town—Schneider is 1-2-0 with a 2.64 GAA and .905 SV% vs. Pittsburgh this season.

Glencross was available for Wednesday’s practice, but will not return to the lineup tonight vs. Minnesota. It will be the fifth straight game that Glencross has missed—consider him day-to-day.

Hall is listed as day-to-day with a bone bruise. It looks like he will miss a second straight game as the Oilers get set to take on the Sabres. Edmonton’s season is over, so there is no sense rushing Hall back into the lineup.
