Kesselring will make his Sabres' debut vs. Columbus on Tuesday.

Kesselring left the Sabres' preseason game on October 1st after aggravating an injury that he'd been dealing with throughout camp and has been sidelined since. The 25-year-old Kesselring was acquired with Josh Doan in a trade that sent JJ Peterka to the Utah Mammoth in the offseason. Kesslering has the potential to be a top-four defenseman as shown by his seven goals, 29 points, 89 PIMs and 150 SOG in 82 GP with Utah in 2024-25. He makes his Sabres debut on Tuesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Korpisalo will start vs. the Islanders on Tuesday.

The Bruins were embarrassed in a 7-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators last night and will try to rebound on Tuesday, turning to Korpisalo in net against the New York Islanders. The 31-year-old Korpisalo salvaged a victory in his first game of the season but has otherwise performed poorly, posting an ugly 4.03 GAA and .845 SV% in four games (1-3-0). The 4-7-0 Bruins will be desperate to return to the win column on Tuesday, entering the game as +128 home underdogs against a red-hot Islanders team with points in five straight (4-0-1).

Lyon is in the starter's crease at Buffalo's morning skate.

After a dreadful 0-3-0 start to the season, the Sabres have rebounded, improving their record to 4-4-1 through nine games. The team's improved performance is closely correlated with Lyon's strong play between the pipes. The 32-year-old Lyon is boasting a solid 2.61 GAA and .922 SV% through seven games (3-4-0), keeping his team within reach of most contests. The Sabres enter Tuesday's contest as -116 home favorites against a Columbus Blue Jackets team with wins in three of their last four (3-1-0).

Alex Lyon
Zamula will draw back into Philadelphia's lineup vs. Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Adam Ginning will exit Philadelphia's lineup on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, serving as a healthy scratch to allow Zamula to re-enter the lineup. The 25-year-old Zamula has been in-and-out of the Flyers' lineup early in the 2025-26 season. He is averaging 14:03 time-on-ice, over two minutes less than his totals a year ago.

Egor Zamula
Grebenkin will be a healthy scratch vs. Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Grebenkin scored a his first career point, an assist, in the first game of the season but has been held off the scoresheet in his five outings since. The 22-year-old forward heads to the sidelines as a healthy scratch on Tuesday against the Penguins. Nicolas Deslauriers will draw into the lineup as Grebenkin's replacement.

Nikita Grebenkin
Klapka is expected to be a healthy scratch on Tuesday in Toronto.

For this first time this season, Klapka will head to the sidelines and serve as a healthy scratch. The 25-year-old Czech forward has three points (1G / 2A) and is averaging 10:24 time-on-ice through 10 games this season. Matt Coronato will draw into the lineup as Klapka's replacement.

Adam Klapka
Coronato is expected to draw back into Calgary's lineup in Toronto on Tuesday.

Adam Klapka will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs, allowing Coronato to re-enter the lineup. After a breakout 2024-25 season, scoring 47 points (24G / 23A) in 77 games, Coronato has struggled to find that same scoring prowess in 2025-26, limited to only three points (2G / 1A) through nine games.

Matt Coronato
Wolf was in the starter's crease at Calgary's morning skate.

Wolf has been a workhorse for the Flames early in the 2025-26 season, as the team is desperately relying on him in hopes of working their way out of the Western Conference basement after a dreadful 2-7-1 start. The 24-year-old Wolf has started nine of 10 games for the Flames, including both ends of multiple back-to-backs, but has failed to recapture his magic from a season ago when he was the runner-up for the Calder trophy. Wolf has a 3.37 GAA and .886 SV% in nine games this season (2-6-1). The Flames enter Tuesday's contest as +157 road underdogs against a Toronto Maple Leafs team that has lost three of their last four (1-2-1).

Dustin Wolf
Ersson will start vs. Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

The Flyers have seen success alternating goalies early in the 2025-26 season, off to a 4-3-1 start, and will turn to Ersson on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 26-year-old Ersson has been outplayed by counterpart Dan Vladar, but has salvaged a 1-1-1 record despite an unspectacular 3.50 GAA and .861 SV%. The Flyers enter Tuesday's contest as -159 home favorites against a Penguins team that played last night, defeating the St. Louis Blues 6-3.

Samuel Ersson
Binnington will start Tuesday vs. the Red Wings.

The Blues have been leaky defensively lately, outscored 19-11 during three straight regulation losses, and hope Binnington can shut the door when he tends the twine on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings. Binnington was in the Blues' crease on Saturday in a 6-4 loss to the Red Wings when he allowed five goals on 27 shots (.815 SV%). However, aside from that game, the 32-year-old Binnington has been serviceable, significantly outplaying his counterpart Joel Hofer, posting a 1.80 GAA and .911 SV% in his five contests before Saturday's (2-2-1). The Blues enter Tuesday's action as slight -102 home underdogs against the Red Wings.

Jordan Binnington
Pitre has been activated from the Injured-Non Roster and has been assigned to San Diego (AHL).

Pitre had been dealing with an upper-body injury since the beginning of the season and has been activated from the Injured-Non Roster and been assigned to San Diego (AHL). The 20-year-old forward is entering his second professional season in San Diego after having three goals, 16 points and 19 PIMs in 61 GP last season.

Coulson Pitre
Metsa has been loaned to Rochester (AHL).

Metsa appeared in four games since his call-up on October 20th but failed to pick up a point and has been loaned back to Rochester (AHL) on Monday. The 27-year-old undrafted defensemen made his NHL debut this season and will likely be Buffalo's first call up should they have anyone out of the lineup. Metsa going down is a good indication Michael Kesselring is ready for his season debut on Tuesday.

Zach Metsa
Colorado has signed Tristen Nielsen to a two-year, two-way contract.

Nielsen had started 2025-26 with the Colorado Eagles (AHL) and earned himself a two-year, two-way contract on Monday after picking up three goals and seven points in his first 7 games in the minors. The 25-year-old is in his fifth pro season but has yet to make an NHL appearance despite scoring 14 or more goals in each of his last three minor seasons.

Tristen Nielsen
Korpisalo is expected to start vs. the Islanders on Tuesday.

With Jeremy Swayman occupying Boston's crease for the start of their back-to-back Monday, Joonas Korpisalo is expected to take over the crease vs. the Islanders on Tuesday. Boston's back up netminder will look to snap a personal three-game losing streak which has saw his SV% plummet to .845 SV% this season alongside his 4.03 GAA. He is expected to host Ilya Sorokin and Islanders on Tuesday, who had their four-game win streak snapped on Saturday with a loss to Philadelphia.

Joonas Korpisalo
Ristolainen (ruptured right tricep tendon) is about 4-6 weeks from returning.

Ristolainen's 2024-25 season was cut short due to a ruptured right triceps tendon, but he is making progress and could return towards the end of November. The 30-year-old is entering his 13th NHL season and has not completed a full 82-game season since 2015-16. Before his injury last season, he had four goals, 19 points and 100 SOG across 63 games played.
