Wolf will start in Toronto on Tuesday.

Wolf has been a workhorse for the Flames early in the 2025-26 season, as the team is desperately relying on him in hopes of working their way out of the Western Conference basement after a dreadful 2-7-1 start. The 24-year-old Wolf has started nine of 10 games for the Flames, including both ends of multiple back-to-backs, but has failed to recapture his magic from a season ago when he was the runner-up for the Calder trophy. Wolf has a 3.37 GAA and .886 SV% in nine games this season (2-6-1). The Flames enter Tuesday's contest as +157 road underdogs against a Toronto Maple Leafs team that has lost three of their last four (1-2-1).

Dustin Wolf
Mikheyev (upper-body) will be a game-time decision vs. Ottawa on Tuesday.

Mikheyev record an assist in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Los Angeles Kings but was limited to only 11:55 time-on-ice, exiting the game with an upper-body injury. The 31-year-old forward has five points (3G / 2A) in nine games and his status is uncertain for Tuesday's game against the Ottawa Senators.

Ilya Mikheyev
Bertuzzi (upper-body) will be a game-time decision vs. Ottawa on Tuesday.

Bertuzzi did not play in Chicago's most recent game and his status is uncertain for Tuesday's contest against the Ottawa Senators. The 30-year-old has enjoyed a successful start to his 2025-26 campaign, with two goals, six points and 17 SOG in his first 8 games played.

Tyler Bertuzzi
Back is out vs. Washington on Tueasday after re-aggravated his upper-body injury and is considered day-to-day.

Back has been battling an upper-body injury since training camp and finally made his season debut on Sunday, but will return to the sidelines after reaggravating the injury. The 25-year-old Back played 8:28 time-on-ice and scored a goal. Kyle Capobianco will draw into the Stars' lineup as the team goes with an 11-7 formation.

Oskar Back
Hellebuyck was the first goalie off the ice at Winnipeg's morning skate.

The 6-3-0 Jets will likely have Hellebuyck tending the twine on Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild. After a poor season-opening game, allowing five goals on 32 shots (.865 SV%) in a 5-4 loss to the Dallas Stars, Hellebuyck has returned to the form that has made him a three-time Vezina Trophy winner. The 32-year-old netminder has an excellent 2.16 GAA and .928 SV% in seven games this season (4-3-0). The Jets enter Tuesday's contest as slight -106 road favorites against a struggling Minnesota team that has been outscored 28-39 this season (3-5-2).

Connor Hellebuyck
Skinner will start vs. Utah on Tuesday.

The Oilers are off to a mediocre 4-4-2 start to the season and hope to return to the win column on Tuesday, turning to Skinner between the pipes against the Utah Mammoth. Despite an unspectacular 2-3-1 record, the 26-year-old Skinner has been serviceable in the Oilers' crease, posting a 2.31 GAA and .903 SV%. The Oilers enter Tuesday's contest as -145 home favorites against a surprising Mammoth team that leads the Central Division and is currently riding a seven-game winning streak.

Stuart Skinner
Wedgewood is expected to start vs. New Jersey on Tuesday.

After an incredible start to the season, filling in for an injured Mackenzie Blackwood (lower body) as Colorado's de facto starting netminder, Wedgewood's play has fallen off lately. The 33-year-old Wedgewood is sporting a solid 2.42 GAA and .904 SV% in nine games (5-1-2), but has lost three straight (0-1-2), allowing 11 goals on 52 combined shots (.825 SV%). Colorado will be put to the test on Tuesday, entering their game as -159 home favorites against a New Jersey Devils team leading the league with an 8-1-0 record.

Scott Wedgewood
Capobianco is expected to draw back into Dallas' lineup on Tuesday vs. Washington.

The Stars will roster seven defenseman on Tuesday against the Washington Capitals, allowing Capobianco to draw into the lineup for his season debut. The 28-year-old defenseman has four points (1G / 3A) in five games this season with the Texas Stars (AHL).

Kyle Capobianco
Foligno (upper-body) will be a game-time decision vs. Winnipeg on Tuesday.

Foligno did not play in Minnesota's most recent game, tending to an upper-body injury, but could return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Winnipeg Jets. The 34-year-old Foligno has zero points, 29 hits, and a -7 plus/minus through nine games this season.

Marcus Foligno
Oettinger will start vs. Washington on Tuesday.

After losing four straight (0-3-1-), the Stars have won consecutive games, improving their record to 5-3-1 on the season. The team will return to Oettinger between the pipes on Tuesday against the Washington Capitals, hoping he can elevate his game after a pedestrian start to the season, posting a 2.98 GAA and .899 SV% in seven games (4-2-1). The Stars enter Tuesday's contest as -126 home favorites against a Capitals team leading the league defensively with only 21 goals allowed (2.33 GA / GP).

Jake Oettinger
Gustavsson will start vs. Winnipeg on Tuesday.

After starting their season with a dominant 5-0 over the St. Louis Blues, Minnesota has been outscored 24-39 in their following nine games (2-5-2). Gustavsson had an excellent 2024-25 season, but has struggled to start this 2025-26 season. The 27-year-old goalie returns to the crease Tuesday against the Winnipeg Jets and hopes to improve on his 3.34 GAA and .897 SV% through seven games (2-5-0). Minnesota enters the contest as slight -104 home underdogs.

Filip Gustavsson
Stolarz is in the starter's crease at Toronto's morning skate.

Toronto has had an inconsistent 4-4-1 start to the 2025-26 season and hopes to start a winning streak on Tuesday, turning to Stolarz between the pipes against the Calgary Flames. The 31-year-old Stolarz has battled through his own adversity this season, posting a 3.31 GAA and .885 SV% in seven games (2-4-1), a far cry from the elite numbers he posted a season ago. Still, the Maple Leafs enter Tuesday's contest as -177 home favorites against a Flames team off to a miserable 2-7-1 start to the season.

Anthony Stolarz
Shepard has been loaned to Belleville (AHL).

Shepard was recalled from Belleville (AHL) on Monday to serve as the backup to Leevi Merilainen, allowing Linus Ullmark to rest before returning to the crease on Tuesday. The undrafted Shedpard played one NHL game with the Washington Capitals last season but spent most of the campaign in the AHL, posting a 2.80 GAA and .891 SV% in 39 games (23-11-4) with the Hershey Bears.

Hunter Shepard
Knight is in the starter's crease at Chicago's morning skate.

After ending the 2024-25 season with the second-worst record in the Western Conference, the Blackhawks are off to a pleasant 4-3-2 start to the 2025-26 season. Part of the success can be attributed to Spencer Knight's tremendous goaltending. The 24-year-old Knight is boasting an outstanding 1.97 GAA and .937 SV% through six games this season (3-2-1). The Blackhawks enter Tuesday's contest as +122 home underdogs against an Ottawa Senators team that blew up offensively last night, defeating the Boston Bruins 7-2.

Spencer Knight
Saros is in the starter's net at Nashville's morning skate.

The Predators are off to a 4-2-0 start to the 2025-26 season and will likely turn to Saros between the pipes on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Despite the team's unspectacular start to the season, they have received adequate goaltending from Saros, who is coming off a poor 2024-25 season. The 30-year-old goalie has a 2.68 GAA and .909 SV% in eight games this season (4-2-2). Still, Nashville enters Tuesday's game as +138 home underdogs against a Tampa Bay team seemingly turning a corner, having won two straight after losing six of its first seven (1-4-2).

Juuse Saros
Wood (upper-body) will return to Columbus' lineup on Tuesday in Buffalo.

Wood suffered a scary injury in the Blue Jackets third game of the season, exiting early after an errant stick caught him directly in his eye. Despite the scary scene, Wood avoided a significant injury and will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Buffalo Sabres. Zach Aston-Reese will serve as a healthy scratch to accommodate Wood's return.

Miles Wood
Greaves will start in Buffalo on Tuesday.

The Blue Jackets have had an up-and-down start to the season with a 4-4-0 record, but have benefited from some solid goaltending in the process. The 24-year-old Greaves has been unable to replicate the elite 1.91 GAA and .938 SV% he had in 11 games with the Blue Jackets last season (7-2-2), but has remained serviceable when called upon, posting a 2.79 GAA and .903 SV% in four games (1-3-0). The Blue Jackets enter Tuesday's contest as +107 road underdogs against a Sabres team that is clicking offensively, outscoring their opposition 25-17 in their last six games (4-1-1).

Jet Greaves
Tarasov will start vs. Anaheim on Tuesday.

The two-time defending Stanley Cup champions have battled adversity early in the 2025-26 season, plagued by a myriad of key injuries, and have fought their way to a 5-5-0 record. Tarasov will return to the crease for the Panthers on Tuesday against the Anaheim Ducks. The 26-year-old goalie continues his search for his first victory in a Panthers' jersey, posting a 3.08 GAA and .887 SV% in two games (0-2-0). The Panthers enter Tuesday's contest as -183 home favorites against a Ducks team with a 4-3-1 record.

Daniil Tarasov
Jarnkrok (lower-body) will be out vs. Calgary on Tuesday and is considered day-to-day.

Jarnkrok showed no signs of an injury in Toronto's most recent game but he was absent from practice on Monday with a lower-body injury. He is considered day-to-day and will not play on Tuesday against the Calgary Flames. The 34-year-old Jarnkrok is averaging 11:15 time-on-ice and has three points (3G / 0A) in eight games this season.
