Hill will start in Edmonton on Wednesday.

Hill will make his eighth start of the season and will be in search of a fourth consecutive victory when the Golden Knights travel to Edmonton on Wednesday. Hill allowed three goals on just 19 shots against but managed an overtime victory over Utah on Saturday. He owns a 5-2-0 record on the season despite an .874 SV% and a 3.15 GAA. He'll have his hands full on Wednesday with Vegas being +130 underdogs in Edmonton.

Adin Hill
Skinner will start against the Golden Knights on Wednesday.

The Oilers have been very liberal with their goalie rotation lately, splitting starts over the past two weeks, and will turn to Skinner between the pipes on Wednesday for his third start in the past six games. The 26-year-old Skinner has been highly inconsistent this season, represented by an unappealing 3.31 GAA and .811 SV%. That said, Skinner was excellent in his last outing, saving 29 of 31 shots (.935 SV%) in a 4-2 win over the Calgary Flames. The Oilers enter the action on Wednesday as -137 home favorites against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Stuart Skinner
Mrazek will start against the Red Wings on Wednesday.

The Blackhawks are riding a season-best two-game winning streak and will turn to Mrazek between the pipes after giving him the night off in their previous outing. The 32-year-old Mrazek has been serviceable in the Blackhawks' crease this season, posting a 3.02 GAA and .900 SV% in 10 games (4-6-0). The Blackhawks enter the action on Wednesday as slight +104 home underdogs against a Detroit Red Wings club that has only scored 29 goals this season, tied for second fewest in the NHL.

Petr Mrazek
Novak (undisclosed) is listed as a scratch for Wednesday's game against the Capitals.

Novak participated fully in warmups and his absence was not announced until just minutes before puck drop. We should expect to receive an update following the completion of Wednesday's game, but it seems likely Novak suffered some sort of injury in warmups.

Tommy Novak
Saros will start in Washington on Wednesday.

Saros will be making his eleventh start of the season on Wednesday and will be hoping to improve on his 3-6-1 record. The 10-year-veteran allowed just two goals on 24 shots his last time out but still ended up with the loss as the Kings shutout the Predators 3-0 on Monday. Despite the poor record, Saros has rebounded after a slow start to the campaign, raising his SV% to a respectable .902. The Predators enter action on Wednesday as slight underdogs at +105.

Juuse Saros
Joshua (testicular cancer) is unlikely to play against the Kings on Thursday.

Joshua is essentially day-to-day at this point, and he should be back in the Canucks lineup sooner than later. In mid-September, the Canucks announced that 28-year-old Dakota Joshua had been diagnosed with testicular cancer and successfully had a tumor removed but would not be ready for the start of training camp. The fifth-year winger is coming off his best season in 2023-24, with 18 goals, 32 points, 60 PIMs, 84 SOG, and a +19 plus/minus through 63 games played.

Dakota Joshua
Jankowski will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday in Washington.

Michael McCarron and Philip Tomasino will both draw back into the Predators' lineup on Wednesday against the Washington Capitals, sending Luke Evangelista and Mark Jankowski to the sidelines as healthy scratches. The 30-year-old Jankowski was an offensive standout in the AHL last season, scoring 47 points (15G / 32A) in 40 games with the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL). That success translated during a 32-game NHL stint last season, scoring 15 points (7G / 8A) in 32 games. That said, Jankowski has scored only one point (0G / 1A) through 11 games with the Predators this season.

Mark Jankowski
Evangelista will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday in Washington.

Michael McCarron and Philip Tomasino will both draw back into the Predators' lineup on Wednesday against the Washington Capitals, sending Luke Evangelista and Mark Jankowski to the sidelines as healthy scratches. The 22-year-old Evangelista has five points (1G / 4A) through 12 games this season but has been held off the scoresheet in five straight.

Luke Evangelista
Tomasino will draw back into Nashville's lineup on Wednesday in Washington.

Luke Evangelista and Mark Jankowski will be healthy scratch on Wednesday against the Washington Capitals, allowing Philip Tomasino and Michael McCarron to re-enter the lineup. The 23-year-old Tomasino had an impressive 20 points (7G / 13A) in 41 games last season, but has been limited to zero points in four contests so far in the 2024-25 campaign.

Philip Tomasino
McCarron will draw back into the Predators' lineup on Wednesday in Washington.

Luke Evangelista and Mark Jankowski will be healthy scratch on Wednesday against the Washington Capitals, allowing Philip Tomasino and Michael McCarron to re-enter the lineup. The 29-year-old McCarron has two points (1G / 1A) and a -9 plus/minus through 10 games this season.

Michael McCarron
Forbort (lower-body) is expected to be out week-to-week.

Forbort played 15:18 time-on-ice in the Canucks' previous game, returning from a six-game absence due to personal reasons, but has suffered a lower-body injury that will keep him out of the lineup for the foreseeable future. The 32-year-old Forbort has one point (0G / 1A) while averaging 16:30 time-on-ice through four games this season.

Derek Forbort
Richard has been recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Richard played nine games with the Boston Bruins last season, scoring three points (1G / 2A), but has primarily been an AHL player since being drafted in the fourth-round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft by the Nashville Predators. The 27-year-old Richard has nine points (4G / 5A) in seven games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL) this season).

Anthony Richard
Walman will draw back into the Sharks' lineup on Thursday vs. Minnesota.

Walman was a surprise healthy scratch on Tuesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets as per a coaching decision. The 28-year-old Walman has been productive from the blueline in his first season with the Sharks, scoring nine points (1G / 8A) in 13 games, highlighted by seven points (1G / 6A) in his last four contests.

Jake Walman
Jones has cleared waivers and been assigned to Providence (AHL).

Jones struggled to find his place in the lineup in his first season in Boston, being limited to only four games, scoring zero points a -4 plus/minus. The 26-year-old Jones has not played in the AHL since an eight-game stint with the San Diego Gulls in the 2019-20 season.

Max Jones
Makar (undisclosed) will travel on Colorado's road trip and is a possibility to play on Thursday in Winnipeg.

Makar went down awkwardly in the 2nd period of Tuesday's win over Seattle and attempted to return for the 3rd period before leaving for the rest of the game with 15:07 TOI. The 26-year-old is an early leader for Norris Trophy votes with 23 points (5G/18A) in his first 13 games played.

Cale Makar
Georgiev will start on Thursday in Winnipeg.

For only the second time since October 18th, a nine-game stretch, the Avalanche will turn to Georgiev between the pipes. Jared Bednar and the Avalanche coaching staff will hope the off-time helped Georgiev regroup after a horrid start to the 2024-25 season, posting an abysmal 4.62 GAA and .822 SV% in six games (1-4-0). To make matters more concerning, Colorado faces off against a league-leading Winnipeg Jets club (12-1-0) that leads the league offensively with 62 goals in 13 games (4.8 GF / GP).
