Martin Brodeur will start against Maple Leafs

Brodeur allowed one goal on 26 shots last night, but took the loss because the Devils couldn't solve Tuukka Rask. He catches a break tomorrow, the red-hot Joffrey Lupul will be out of the Maple Leafs lineup. He should make for a decent second-tier start.

Jake Allen gets the nod tonight in goal. #stlblues

Allen gets the call for the second game of a back-to-back. Brian Elliott played well enough yesterday to get the win vs. Chicago. This will be Allen's first start since being recalled, he has a scary matchup vs. a surprising Blue Jackets squad.

Confirmed #CBJ will go with Bobrovsky vs #stblues tonight

Bobrovsky played great again last night, allowing just one goal on 39 shots in a 3-1 win. He will start again tonight vs. a strong Blues team. Bobrovsky is fifth in the NHL in GAA (2.09) and third in the league in SV% (.930), he will most likely receive some Vezina consideration.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Carlyle says Lupul is day to day. Won't use the word concussion because they don't know what it is yet. Not sure if he will go on the trip.

Lupul won't play tomorrow but monitor his status tomorrow as the Leafs are likely to have a better idea on what he is dealing with.

Joffrey Lupul
Robin Lehner just confirmed he's starting tonight here in Buffalo.

Craig Anderson is getting really close to returning and it was originally believed that he might be back tonight. However it will be Lehner after they traded Ben Bishop to the Lightning on Wednesday. Lehner stopped 47 of 50 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Bruins on Tuesday. He has a much easier matchup tonight vs. the Sabres.

Joffrey Lupul is not practicing today. Will await further update from Randy Carlyle following practice.

Lupul took an ugly blow to the head from two Flyers last night. He looked a little groggy when he was trying to get off of the ice. The immediate concern is always a concussion, but Carlyle didn't make it sound like the injury was too serious. An update will likely be available later this afternoon.

#RedWings going with Jimmy Howard against Avalanche.

Howard allowed three goals on 37 shots in a 4-2 loss to the Coyotes last night. He will be back in the cage again tonight, this time in Colorado. He stopped 22 shots and led the Red Wings to a 3-2 win over the Avs on Monday. Howard is 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .951 SV% vs. Colorado this season.

Jokinen centering line between Kunitz and Dupuis #Pens -SK

Jokinen was acquired by the Penguins on Wednesday and will suit up tonight vs. the Rangers. Jokinen has struggled this season, posting just six goals and five assists in 33 games with Carolina. Now he will be playing with two other veterans on a highly skilled team, you might be able to squeeze some fantasy value out of the 30-year-old.

Jussi Jokinen
Veteran Dany Heatley will be sidelined an undermined amount of time with what’s believed to be a wrist injury.

The Wild says there is no exact timetable yet, but coach Mike Yeo said Thursday the Wild’s third-leading goal scorer will miss at least the next couple games and General Manager Chuck Fletcher said at least the next couple weeks.

Dany Heatley
Ryan Miller will get the start in goal tonight vs Ottawa.

Miller allowed one goal on 20 shots in a 4-1 win over the Penguins on Tuesday. Miller will face the Senators for the third time this season tonight. He is 0-1-1 with a 2.91 GAA and .908 SV% in his two previous starts vs. Ottawa.
