With Halak out, Elliott will need to play well if he doesn't want to lose starts to Jake Allen. He has a tough matchup tomorrow vs. the Blackhawks.

Sharp will miss his 12th straight game tomorrow with a shoulder injury.
The Florida Panthers have traded forward Jerred Smithson to the Edmonto Oilers for a fourth-round pick.
Smithson is a gritty right-handed shot who is a great faceoff guy. He will replace the oft-injured Eric Belanger in the Oilers lineup.
Eric Fehr (upper body) said he’s feeling better, hopes to be back in the lineup soon but didn’t have a definitive timeline.
Fehr has missed the Capitals last four games because of the upper-body injury. He has 12 points in 29 games with the Caps this season.

Dubinsky has missed the Blue Jackets last six games with a knee injury. He has bee hurt on a few occasions this season, only appearing in 19 games thus far. Consider him probable for tomorrow, he has practiced hard all week.

Hannan was originally drafted 23rd overall by the Sharks in 1997. He played for San Jose from 1998-2007. He returns to the Sharks after making stops in Colorado, Washington, Calgary and Nashville. He is not a fantasy relevant defenseman, he has just one assist in 29 games this year.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
