One wonders if this means Granlund, who has had trouble finding a role and has been scratched in four of eight games, winds up back in Houston.

Granlund has all of the potential in the world but has hit a rut similar to what we've seen with other rookies in this shortened season. The best case scenario would be for Granlund to spend some time in Houston playing instead of playing limited minutes with the Wild, where he won't be producing. We aren't downgrading Granlund for keeper league status, yet, but all yearly league owners should have Granlund dropped until he shows some signs of life.

It was a tough night for Edmonton Oilers goalie Devan Dubnyk who was bowled over by teammate Teemu Hartikainen immediately after stopping Marian Hossa on a short-handed breakaway. He left the game with a stinger, but expects to be back by Tuesday.

Dubnyk will be evaluated again Monday in Denver, monitor his status before Tuesday's game vs. Colorado.

The Los Angeles Kings officially recalled top prospect Tyler Toffoli from the Manchester Monarchs on Sunday afternoon. Toffoli, 20, ranks second in the American Hockey League with 28 goals scored and second on the Monarchs with 48 points (28-20=48; +20). The 28 goals lead all rookie skaters.

Los Angeles’ second round draft pick in 2010, Toffoli broke out with a 107-point campaign as an 18-year old with the Ottawa 67’s in 2010-11, tying for the Ontario Hockey League scoring lead while leading the league in goals scored with 57. He followed that up with a 100-point season (52-48=100) in 2011-12, leading the league in goals for the second straight year with 52.

Sidney Crosby tied a career high with five assists, and Chris Kunitz posted his second hat trick of the season as the Penguins rocked the New York Islanders 6-1 on Sunday night for their fifth straight win.

Kunitz now has 10 goals and six assists in his last eight games. He posted a career high 61 points in 82 games last season and is on pace for 66 points in 48 games this season. As long as he is playing with Crosby he is an elite fantasy option.

Ryan Miller and Ilya Bryzgalov lead their teams onto the ice for warmups.

Miller is 1-1-2 with a 2.77 GAA and .901 SV% in the month of March. He has not won since March 2nd, but has a decent matchup against an inconsistent Flyers team.

Niemi starting tonight vs. Colorado, McLellan confirms. #sjsharks

Niemi was pulled after giving up three goals on 28 shots in yesterday's game. David Perron flattened Niemi with about five minutes to go in the second period, but it appears as if he is fine and will be able to go today. Niemi has a pretty tough matchup against an Avalanche team that has played well lately including a 6-2 win vs. Chicago.

Tonight will be Ilya Bryzgalov's 25th start in the Flyers' 27th contest this season.

Bryzgalov was lit up for three goals in 2:18 in yesterday's game vs. the Bruins. He has lost his last three starts with a 4.29 GAA and .828 SV%. He has a good matchup to try and get back on track vs. the Sabres tonight.

Halak in goal vs Hiller

Hiller is coming off of a shutout in his last outing and has won four out of his last five. It looked as if Viktor Fasth was going to steal Hiller's starting job but Hiller has played very well giving the Ducks and 1 and 1A combination. He has a tough matchup vs. a solid Blues team, but he should still be a good start.
