Florida Panthers goalie Jose Theodore left Saturday night's game against the Carolina Hurricanes just more than two minutes in with what the team later called a lower-body injury.

Initial reports from Dineen said Theodore would be out a while so adjust your lineups as necessary. Markstrom could be a worthy flier if you're in a deep league.

Sabres top scorer Thomas Vanek missed Saturday’s game against the Devils in Buffalo with an upper-body injury, though coach Ron Rolston remained hopefully he would return Sunday

The Sabres will desperately need their top offensive weapon firing on all cylinders vs. the Rangers Sunday. Look for updates throughout the morning.

Thomas Vanek
Richards still has no goals in the past 14 games and just two on the season, but the Rangers (9-8-2) need him to snap back into form as a playmaker for this grueling stretch of five games in eight days.

The Richards - Nash combo is still bound to produce at some point this season so if you are looking for buy-low candidates down the stretch, Richards should be high on your shortlist.

Brad Richards
Oilers being very cautious on Taylor Hall's leg injury.Told no decision on whether he will play vs Wild Sunday until tomorrow morning.

The Wild and Oilers play late on Sunday so you may want to cautiously sit Hall unless word on his status comes out before the first games. At the very least, it looks as if Hall will only be day-to-day instead of going on IR.

Taylor Hall
Rinne will be between the pipes for the Predators tonight.

Rinne's numbers lately are not where Rinne and the Predators would like that. He's only won once in the last three games while posting a 4.87 GAA and .819 SV%. He will look to get back on track tonight against the Sharks.

Pekka Rinne
Fasth will start tonight for the Ducks.

Jonas Hiller played last night so it will be Fasth between the pipes tonight for Anaheim. Fasth got back in the win column Wednesday against Nashville after suffering his first loss earlier in the week. Fasth has had a very successful first 10 games of his NHL career. He is 9-1-0 with a 1.92 GAA and .926 SV%. He has a good matchup tonight vs. Phoenix.

Viktor Fasth
Guy Boucher did not know how long Benoit Pouliot will be out, but Pouliot was seen wearing his right arm in a sling after the game

All that we know about the injury is that it is a right arm injury. Pouliot was only played 3:56 before departing with an injury. A more detailed report will be available on Sunday.

Benoit Pouliot
Bieksa (groin) will be game time decision,

Bieksa has missed the Canucks last two games with a groin injury but could return tonight. Bieksa will take part of warmups and will be a game-time decision. Bieksa has five goals and one assist in 17 games this season.

Kevin Bieksa
No skate this morning in Glendale. Would have to guess that it'll be Viktor Fasth in for Ducks tonight.

Fasth got back in the win column Wednesday against Nashville after suffering his first loss earlier in the week. There was no morning skate in Anaheim this morning so this is all speculation at this point but it is likely Fasth after HIller played yesterday. Fasth has had a very successful first 10 games of his NHL career. He is 9-1-0 with a 1.92 GAA and .926 SV%. He has a good matchup tonight vs. Phoenix.

Viktor Fasth
Jonathan Quick off first and fast for Kings + Bernier out still working with Bill Ranford, so looks like Quick against Canucks tonight.

Quick has won his last three starts without allowing more than two goals in any contest. Quick has pushed his SV% over .900 now with his recent stretch of strong play. He is now 6-5-2 with a 2.42 GAA and .906 SV% on the season. He has a tough matchup vs. a good Canucks team.

Jonathan Quick
Wings said Filppula, who hasn't been on ice said last Sunday due to left shoulder injury, won't play Sunday and is day to day.

This will be the third consecutive game Filppula will have missed. He has just 10 points in 19 games . The Red Wings will look for him to step up when he returns to the lineup.

Valtteri Filppula
Niemi gets the nod for the Sharks.

Niemi allowed only one goal on 33 shots but still didn't get the win as the Sharks lost in a shootout to the Red Wings. The Sharks are having a hard time scoring and it won't get any easier as they will likely face Pekka Rinne tonight. Niemi should be able to post good numbers against a Predators team who's offense isn't playing well either.

Antti Niemi
Babcock, as expected, said he'll use same lineup Sunday vs. Chicago he used last game, except for Howard starting in goal.

Howard played well against the Kings stopping 27 of 29 shots but lost on a late turnover in the defensive zone. The Red Wings were killing penalties for most of the third period including two 5-on-3's which hurt Howard. He has a tough matchup in big divisional matchup with the Blackhawks.

Jimmy Howard
Matt Frattin has been cleared for contact. Will take part in first full contact practice tomorrow

Frattin (knee) has been out since February 11 but should be back in the lineup soon now that he was medically cleared for contact. Frattin was one of the Maple Leafs best players before getting hurt. He will look to pick-up where he left-off when he gets back. He has seven goals and three assists in 10 games this season.

Matt Frattin
