Third straight start tonight for James Reimer with Senators in town.

Reimer has won each of his first two starts since returning from his knee injury. His numbers haven't been great in those two wins (2.97 GAA and .895 SV%) but he has given the Maple Leafs a chance to win. He is clearly the #1 netminder in Toronto and is a solid #2 fantasy option going forward.

Pete DeBoer said Johan Hedberg will start in net tonight vs. Tampa Bay.

This is shocking after Hedberg has lost his last six appearances and let in some soft goals last night. However Devils coach Peter DeBoer says "Hedberg has unfairly taken the blame for recent losses". The 39 year-old netminder will be in tough again tonight against Steven Stamkos and the Lightning.

Bernier will get his second start in two days.

Bernier has been lights out this season so he deserves to start. In his last five starts he has won all five with a 1.00 GAA and .956 SV%. Quick has also played well but the Kings are going to ride the hot hand of Bernier. He only saw 19 shots last night vs. Nashville so he should be fresh tonight against the Blues.

AV says Bieksa (groin) is day-to-day again but will likely go with the team on road trip to CBJ-Minny-CBJ. #canucks

Keith Ballard will play tonight in Bieksa's absence. Bieksa has five goals and one assist on the season. Monitor his status for Vancouver's games later in the week.

Kevin Bieksa
Miikka Kiprusoff yet to be cleared, but there's a chance he starts tomorrow. Two straight full practices. #Flames

Kiprusoff hasn't played in a month but it looks like he will return to the lineup tomorrow. He was 2-3-2 with a 3.24 GAA and .870 SV% before getting hurt. Kipper is only owned in 24.0% of ESPN leagues, he could make for a good pickup for teams that are dealing with goalie injuries.

Niemi is your Sharks starter tonight.

NIemi stopped 18 of 19 shots that he faced in a 2-1 win over Nashville on Saturday. He will be back between the pipes tonight when San Jose faces Vancouver. It is a tough matchup on paper but the Canucks have lost three of their last four games. Niemi has outstanding numbers (1.83 GAA and .934 SV%) so he remains a great fantasy option

Halak will start tonight for the Blues.

Halak has won two of his four starts with a 1.76 GAA and .913 SV% since returning from injury. He will be between the pipes tonight against a good Kings. The Blues are banged up right now and they aren't the same team they were at the start of the season. Halak is still a good fantasy play regardless of matchup.

Brad Richards left the ice early in today’s optional skate and, shortly afterwards, the Rangers recalled ex-Islanders tough guy Micheal Haley from Connecticut (AHL).

Richards was hurt when he was hit from behind by Patrick Kaleta on Sunday. Kaleta was suspended five games for the hit. it would be fair to infer that Richards will be a game-time decision, at best.

Brad Richards
Schneider gets the start vs Sharks. #Canucks

With Roberto Luongo getting the loss on Sunday in Calgary, Cory Schneider will be back between the pipes for the Canucks. Schneider was on record for the loss in San Jose back on January 27 allowing four goals on 27 shots although he was probably one of Vancouver's better performers that night.
