As you would figure, Viktor Fasth will go for the Ducks tonight against LA.

As many will joke about it will be Fasth vs. Quick tonight when the Ducks take on the Kings. Fasth is still undefeated at 8-0-0 with a 1.78 GAA and .933 SV% this season. He has had a perfect start to his NHL career and is a must-start in all daily leagues whenever he gets the nod.

Viktor Fasth
Cristopher Nilstorp will be in goal. Kari Lehtonen skated hard and stayed out late. However, he still is questionable for Tuesday at CBJ.

Nilstorp allowed one goal on 32 shots in his last start vs. San Jose. He will be back between the pipes tonight because Kari Lehtonen is still not ready to return when Dallas faces Nashville. The Predators are last in the NHL in Goals For per game (1.95) but are third in Goals Against per game (2.05) so Nilstorp shouldn't be too busy but will need to out play Pekka Rinne.

First time Kiprusoff has practiced with the group since the injury occurred almost 3 weeks ago. #Flames

Kiprusoff hasn't played since February 5th. The Flames have won five of 10 games since Kipper has been out with an injury. The fact that he practiced regularly today is a positive sign that he should be back in the near future.

Emery will start tonight for the Blackhawks.

The undefeated Emery (7-0-0) will start tonight vs. Edmonton. He is the backup now that Corey Crawford is back healthy but has earned his fair share of start with the way he has been playing. The Hawks have been tremendous all year making Crawford and Emery must-starts when their between the pipes.

Ray Emery
The Florida Panthers have sent Markstrom back down to the AHL.

Markstrom lost both of his starts and allowed 3 goals in both contests and posted a .915 SV%. The Panthers have two veteran netminders with Jose Theodore and Scott Clemmensen so that is likely why Markstrom is going back to the AHL. However it doesn't sound as if Markstrom will be in the AHL for long.

Jacob Markstrom
#nhljets Byfuglien will likely play tomorrow night against NYR.

Byfuglien left yesterday's game with a lower-body injury but was on the ice this morning for the Jets optional practice. It appears as if he will be in the lineup tomorrow which is great news for Winnipeg.

Dustin Byfuglien
Khabibulin the first #Oilers goalie off the ice this morning, indicating he'll make the start against the #Blackhawks tonight

This team was supposed to be Devan Dubnyk's this season but the veteran Khabibulin is making a strong case for himself to be the Oilers #1 goalie. This will be his third start in Edmonton's last four games. Khabibulin has two wins in his last 3 outings with a 1.82 GAA and .944 SV%. He has a terribly tough matchup tonight vs. the Blackhawks tonight.

Jason Chimera suffered a lower body injury at practice. He and Nick Backstrom both questionable for tomorrow

Backstrom missed practice this morning with an illness and is questionable for tomorrow's game vs. Carolina. He has 1 G, 12 A and is a -2 in 17 games this season. Monitor his status tomorrow.

Nicklas Backstrom
Holtby will start tomorrow.

This will be Holtby's eighth consecutive start and he is clearly the #1 goalie in Washington. He has won three of his last five starts with a 2.82 GAA and .913 SV%. The Capitals have played better as of late and will look to continue their strong play tomorrow vs. Carolina.

Braden Holtby
Bryzgalov will start tonight for the Flyers.

At the start of the season it was Bryzgalov carrying the Flyers when the offense wasn't there. Now it is the offense carrying Bryz. He has won three of his last four but posted a 3.41 GAA and .883 SV% in that stretch. The Flyers averaged 5.0 goals per game in those four contests. Bryzgalov's numbers haven't been pretty but as long as the Flyers offense is hot he will continue to get the wins.

Ilya Bryzgalov
"Good to see Dan Girardi practicing with NYR today. I honestly thought it wasn't going to be good news after seeing it live on Saturday."

Girardi is dealing with a bone bruise and was on the ice this morning for the Rangers. He is one-part of New York's top-pair that is currently dealing with injuries. It looks like Girardi and Ryan McDonagh will both be in on Tuesday when the Rangers take on the Jets, but keep an eye on them tomorrow.

Dan Girardi
Ben scrivens takes visting end net for morning skate. He should start tonight. #tmltalk

Scrivens has won three of his last five but lost in his last outing with 24 seconds left after allowing three goals on 35 shots. He has a tough matchup tonight vs. the Flyers who have won three of their last four while scoring 20 goals in that stretch.
