Jason Chimera suffered a lower body injury at practice. He and Nick Backstrom both questionable for tomorrow

Backstrom missed practice this morning with an illness and is questionable for tomorrow's game vs. Carolina. He has 1 G, 12 A and is a -2 in 17 games this season. Monitor his status tomorrow.

Nicklas Backstrom
Holtby will start tomorrow.

This will be Holtby's eighth consecutive start and he is clearly the #1 goalie in Washington. He has won three of his last five starts with a 2.82 GAA and .913 SV%. The Capitals have played better as of late and will look to continue their strong play tomorrow vs. Carolina.

Braden Holtby
Bryzgalov will start tonight for the Flyers.

At the start of the season it was Bryzgalov carrying the Flyers when the offense wasn't there. Now it is the offense carrying Bryz. He has won three of his last four but posted a 3.41 GAA and .883 SV% in that stretch. The Flyers averaged 5.0 goals per game in those four contests. Bryzgalov's numbers haven't been pretty but as long as the Flyers offense is hot he will continue to get the wins.

Ilya Bryzgalov
"Good to see Dan Girardi practicing with NYR today. I honestly thought it wasn't going to be good news after seeing it live on Saturday."

Girardi is dealing with a bone bruise and was on the ice this morning for the Rangers. He is one-part of New York's top-pair that is currently dealing with injuries. It looks like Girardi and Ryan McDonagh will both be in on Tuesday when the Rangers take on the Jets, but keep an eye on them tomorrow.

Dan Girardi
Ben scrivens takes visting end net for morning skate. He should start tonight. #tmltalk

Scrivens has won three of his last five but lost in his last outing with 24 seconds left after allowing three goals on 35 shots. He has a tough matchup tonight vs. the Flyers who have won three of their last four while scoring 20 goals in that stretch.

Ben Scrivens
#Sens morning skate is underway. Ben Bishop is in the starters end.

Bishop has won his last three outings while posting a 2.02 GAA and .931 SV%. Ottawa is surprising everyone by continuing their solid play without Spezza, Karlsson and Anderson. He has a tough matchup vs. the Habs who have won six of their last seven.

Ben Bishop
Tonight's Ducks starting goalie is ... Jonas Hiller, who leads the team on the ice for warm-ups.

Hiller will be back between the pipes for the Anaheim Ducks. Hiller is 4-2-1 with a 3.43 GAA and .880 SV% this season. It was expected that Fasth would start but that is not the case.

Jonas Hiller
Fleury will start for the Penguins.

Fleury has been an elite fantasy option this season. He has won four consecutive starts and seven of his last eight. The Penguins begin life without Malkin today but they still are tremendously skilled team without him and should be fine. Fleury is a must-start in all formats.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Ward will start for the Hurricanes.

Ward has lost his last two starts while posting a 3.51 GAA and .857 SV% but Ellis didn't fare much better yesterday yielding 5 goals to the Lightning. Ward has a good matchup vs an Islanders team giving Kevin Poulin his first start this season.

Cam Ward
Bruce Boudreau would only say that both Viktor Fasth and Jonas Hiller will play with five games in seven days this week but we'll guess that Fasth (8-0-0, 1.78 GAA, .933 SV%) will get the nod tonight as he hasn't played since Feb. 16 at Nashville.

Fasth still has not lost this season. He is 8-0-0 with 1.78 GAA and .933 SV% and is a must-start in formats. He has a good matchup tonight vs. the Avalanche.

Viktor Fasth
Anders Lindback said he'll be starting in goal tonight for @TBLightning against @penguins

Lindback's stats haven't been great so far this season. The Lightning are up against a good Penguins team but catch a break tonight with Malkin being out of the lineup
