The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired a 2014 fifth-round draft pick from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for Ben Lovejoy, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.

The acquisition is considered a depth move from the Pens who are currently dealing with an injured Fowler. Lovejoy wasn't a major fantasy contributor with the Pens so it is unlikely he will find an offensive stride with the Ducks.

Ben Lovejoy
Miller gets the nod for the Sabres.

Miller has struggled to open the season posting a 3-4-1 record with a 3.11 GAA and .906 SV%. In his last 4 starts he's allowed 4 goals in each game going 1-2-1 in that stretch. The one thing he has going for him is the Sabres are scoring, but he needs to start stopping more rubber if he is going to be a #1 fantasy option.

Ryan Miller
Brodeur will start tonight for the Devils.

Brodeur opened the season with 3 straight wins and followed it up with 3 straight losses. He snapped that 3 game losing skid in his last outing vs. the Rangers, where he played well making 24 saves on 25 shots. He now has a 4-1-2 record with a 2.51 GAA and .907 SV%. He's been a solid fantasy option thus far but is in tough tonight vs. a high-scoring Lightning team.

Martin Brodeur
Schneider will start tomorrow for the Canucks.

Luongo started the last 4 games for the Canucks but Schneider will get the call tomorrow vs. the Wild. His numbers aren't that great this season which is why Luongo who is playing well has been getting the starts. Schneider will need a good performance if he wants to keep getting starts. He was 2-2 last season vs. the Wild.

Cory Schneider
Colorado RW David Jones due back in lineup tonight vs. #NHLDucks after missing past two games with knee issue.

Jones was a 20 goal scorer last season but has had a rough start to the season only registering 1 goal in 7 games to go along with a -8. He isn't fantasy relevant until his play picks up.

David Jones
Irving will start tomorrow for the Flames.

Since Kiprusoff is hurt Irving will be the starter for the time being. Kiprusoff isn't expected to miss a lot of time so Irving doesn't have a lot of fantasy value. Lucky for him his first start of the season will come against the Blue Jackets.

Leland Irving
Lindback will start for the Lightning tomorrow.

Lindback had a 4 game winning streak going until he took the loss yesterday in a game where he only allowed 2 goals. Lindback isn't used to having such little goal support this season but could get back into the win column tomorrow vs. Devils, although it is a tough matchup.

Anders Lindback
Craig Anderson will start on Thursday vs Carolina.

Anderson looks like he'll play almost every game this season, the only nights he may get off are during back-to-backs and even then who knows. He has been exceptional so far with a 6-2-1 record, 1.33 GAA and .956 SV%. He is a must-start in all formats.

Craig Anderson
#CBJ D Nikita Nikitin (upper body) said he felt good after second straight day skating with team. Hopes to play on Thursday vs. Flames.

Nikitin has missed the Blue Jackets last 3 games but sounds like he will be back tomorrow vs. the Flames. He has 2 assists in 7 games this season and is a -3. He can put up points as he showed us last year 7 G and 25 A in only 54 games. However the +/- will likely be a problem.

Nikita Nikitin
Viktor Fasth off the ice first. Will start tonight for the Ducks.

Fasth will get his 4th start of the year tonight. In his first 3 starts he has recorded wins in all of them with a 1.30 GAA and a .946 SV%. This is a pretty good start to his NHL career, and he should continue to see starts as long as he is playing well and Hiller is struggling.

Viktor Fasth
Dubnyk the first goalie off the ice this morning, he'll start between the pipes for the #Oilers again tonight vs. Dallas

Dubnyk has been a workhorse so far this season as tonight will mark his 10th straight start. He comes into tonight on a three game losing skid, two of which were OT losses though. Not only is Dubnyk playing a lot of games he has been working hard in those games. He has seen 117 shots in the last 3 contests and has turned aside 110 of them. He's growing into a good #2 fantasy option.

Devan Dubnyk
Neuvirth will start tomorrow for the Capitals.

Neuvirth who stopped 18 of 21 shots he faced in a losing effort vs. Toronto last night will get the call tomorrow against Pittsburgh. The Capitals are really struggling and can't seem to find their stride. The Caps struggles really limit their goalies fantasy values, I would look elsewhere until they start performing better.

Michal Neuvirth
Jets announce Scheifele has been reassigned to Barrie Colts.

Scheifele only appeared in 4 games this season and served as a healthy scratch in 5 games. This is a good move for the Jets as he will get more playing time and opportunity in the OHL. Scheifele is a big part of the Jets future and there is no sense just having him sit and watch the games.
