Ryan will draw back into the Oilers' lineup on Monday vs. New Jersey.

Drake Caggiula will exit the Oilers' lineup on Monday against the New Jersey Devils, the tail end of a back-to-back, allowing Ryan to re-enter the lineup for the first time since October 28th. The 37-year-old Ryan is averaging 9:15 time-on-ice, has zero point, a -3 plus/minus, and eight penalty minutes in 10 games this season.

Derek Ryan
Stecher will draw back into the Oilers' lineup on Monday vs. New Jersey.

Travis Dermott will return to being a healthy scratch after playing two straight, allowing Stecher to re-enter the Oilers lineup. The 30-year-old Stecher, has played eight games this season, is averaging 15:36 time-on-ice, recording 10 blocks, 10 hits, and zero points.

Troy Stecher
Dermott will be a healthy scratch on Monday vs. New Jersey.

Troy Stecher will draw back into the Oilers lineup on Monday against the New Jersey Devils, resulting in Dermott being a healthy scratch. The 27-year-old Dermott has been in and out of the Oilers lineup all season, averaging 15:14 time-on-ice, scoring zero points while being limited to six games thus far.

Caggiula will be a healthy scratch on Monday vs. New Jersey.

Derek Ryan will draw into the Oilers lineup for the tail end of their back-to-back, sending Caggiula to the press box as a healthy scratch. The 30-year-old Caggiula is averaging 7:36 time-on-ice and has one point (0G / 1A) in two games this season.

Drake Caggiula
Pickard will start on Monday vs. New Jersey.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, after a 4-2 win over the Calgary Flames yesterday, the Oilers will switch to Pickard between the pipes on Monday against the New Jersey Devils. Pickard will have started three of the last five for the Oilers and is riding a three-game winning streak, allowing two or fewer goals in each, posting a stellar .938 SV%. The Oilers, riding a two-game winning streak since Connor McDavid suffered a lower-body injury, enter Monday's contest against the Devils as +109 home underdogs.

Calvin Pickard
Allen will start on Monday in Edmonton.

The Devils suffered a 3-0 loss to the Calgary Flames in their last outing and will switch from Jacob Markstrom to Jake Allen between the pipes for the first time in four games. Allen, sporting an ugly 3.25 GAA and .876 SV% in four games this season (2-1-1), has struggled in his last two contests (0-1-1), allowing 12 goals on 67 shots (.821 SV%). The Devils enter the action on Monday as -133 road favorites against an Edmonton Oilers club riding a two-game winning streak without Connor McDavid (lower-body) in their lineup.

Jake Allen
Burroughs will draw back into the Kings' lineup on Monday in Nashville.

Burroughs has only played one of the last eight games for the Kings but will re-enter the lineup on Monday against the Nashville Predators. The 29-year-old Burroughs is averaging 14:29 time-on-ice and has one point (0G / 1A), four blocks, and 10 hits in five games this season.

Kyle Burroughs
Kuemper was the first goalie off the ice at Los Angeles' morning skate.

Kuemper allowed a final-minute game-tying goal in the third period in his previous outing, an eventual 4-3 shootout loss to the Chicago Blackhawks. That said, he will likely return to the crease on Monday night against the Nashville Predators. Despite a disastrous performance when he allowed eight goals on 41 shots (.805 SV%) in an 8-7 loss to the Ottawa Senators, Kuemper has been serviceable between the pipes in his first season as a King, allowing three or fewer goals in five of six games, recording a .890 SV%. The Kings enter the action on Monday as +126 road underdogs against a Predators club with points in five of their last six (4-1-1).

Darcy Kuemper
MacDermid will draw back into the Devils' lineup on Monday in Edmonton.

MacDermid has been a healthy scratch the last two games but will re-enter the lineup on Monday against the Edmonton Oilers. The 30-year-old MacDermid has zero points, 10 penalty minutes, one block, and six hits while averaging 5:05 time-on-ice through three games this season.

Kurtis MacDermid
York (upper-body) will likely travel on Philadelphia's upcoming road trip but is unsure if he will play.

York has not played the last five games due to an upper-body injury but could draw back into the lineup on the Flyers' upcoming road trip, which begins on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes. The 23-year-old York is averaging 22:56 time-on-ice and has three points (2G / 1A) through seven games this season.

Cam York
Broberg will be out 4-6 weeks with a lower-body injury.

Broberg left Saturday's game with an apparent leg injury after getting tangled up with Mitch Marner along the boards. It's a terrible break for Broberg, who has emerged as one of the Blues' top defensemen after being signed to an offer sheet this offseason. Broberg had been seeing some deployment on the Blues' second powerplay unit, a spot likely to be filled by Colton Parayko.

Philip Broberg
Motte (upper-body) will be available on Wednesday in Chicago.

Motte has been practicing with the team over the last couple of days and, after missing his seventh straight game on Saturday, could return to the lineup on Wednesday against the Chicago Blackhawks. Jonatan Berggren will likely be the odd-man out of the lineup when Motte returns to action.

Tyler Motte
Benson (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday vs. Ottawa.

Benson has not played the last five games due to a lower-body injury but has practiced with the team the last several days and could return to the lineup as soon as Tuesday against the Ottawa Senators. Benson had played six of seven games to start the season for the Sabres before his injury, scoring zero points and recording a -4 plus/minus.

Zach Benson
McDavid (lower-body) is now considered day-to-day after partaking in Monday's optional skate.

On October 30th, McDavid was given a 2-3 week timeline to return from a lower-body injury but could be slightly ahead of schedule. Though the Oilers will be eager to welcome back the services of the NHL's most dynamic offensive player, they have fared well in his absence so far, outscoring the opposition 9-3 in two games (2-0-0). McDavid, averaging an absurd 1.7 points per game over the previous four seasons, had begun the 2024-25 campaign off to a slow start by his elite standards, with 10 points (3G / 7A) in 10 games.

Connor McDavid
Zub (concussion) will travel with Ottawa on their upcoming road-trip and is a game-time decision on Tuesday in Buffalo.

Zub has not played since suffering a concussion in the third game of the season, but is nearing a return to the lineup and could play as soon as Tuesday against the Buffalo Sabres. he 29-year-old hard-hitting defenseman has battled injuries the last two seasons, being limited to 53 and 69 games respectively.

Artem Zub
Saros was in the starter's crease at Nashville's morning skate.

The Predators are still struggling to live up to expectations after a busy offseason but, after losing their first five, have started to find their footing, winning four of their last six (4-1-1). Saros will likely start for the fourth straight game after an impressive performance in his previous outing, saving 28 of 30 shots (.933 SV%) in a 5-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche. The 29-year-old Saros has a 2.92 GAA and .900 SV% in nine games this season (3-5-1). The Predators enter the action on Monday as -140 home favorites against the Los Angeles Kings.

Juuse Saros
Sorokin will start on Tuesday vs. Pittsburgh.

After seeing sporadic deployment in the first four weeks of the season, splitting time with Semyon Varlamov, Sorokin will make his third consecutive start for the Islanders on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Despite allowing seven combined goals in his last two outings (1-1-0), Sorokin has been tremendous between the pipes this season, posting a stellar 2.29 GAA and .922 SV% in seven contests (3-3-1). The Islanders will face off against a Penguins team riding a season-best two-game winning streak despite allowing 50 goals this season, the most in the Eastern Conference.

Ilya Sorokin
Nichuskin has been cleared to practice with the team but remains in Stage 3 of the NHL/NHL Players' Association Player Assistance Program.

Nichushkin was suspended for six months in May and has been cleared to practice with the Avalanche as he approaches eligibility for reinstatement. Off-ice issues aside, Nichushkin has been dynamite in his last three seasons with the Avalanche, scoring 152 points (70G / 82A) in 169 games, and will provide an offensive boost to an injury-depleted team upon his return to the lineup.

Valeri Nichushkin
Kovalenko has been recalled from the Colorado Eagles (AHL).

In his first season with the Avalanche, Kovalenko has shown glimpses of the talent that made him an offensive standout with Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo (KHL), but limited deployment has likely stunted the opportunity for true success. In 12 games, Kovalenko is averaging 13:41 time-on-ice and has four points (1G / 3A).
