Gaucher is one of six players heading back to the AHL on Wedneday after the Flyers' regular season wrapped up on Tuesday night. Gaucher spent most of the year in the AHL, appearing in just four games with the Flyers and failing to record point.

Gaucher last appeared in Philadelphia's lineup on November 4th but will draw back in for Game 82 vs. Montreal and his fourth appearance of the season. The 25-year-old has yet to pick up his first career point despite appearing in seven games across the last two seasons.

With Philadelphia's final game of the season meaning little on Tuesday, Jacob Gaucher has been recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL) to allow some Flyers' regulars to rest. The 25-year-old had a brief, three game appearance with the Flyers earlier in the season but spent the majority with Lehigh Valley, where he had 20 goals and 36 points in 66 games played.

Gaucher was sent down to create room on the roster for Samuel Ersson, who was activated off injured reserve in a corresponding move. Gaucher is yet to register his first career NHL point through seven games with the Flyers.

Gaucher is an undrafted forward that made his NHL debut last season, going scoreless in four games with the Flyers. The 24-year-old has two points (1G / 1A) in eight games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL) this season. The Flyers assigned Emil Andrae to to Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move.

Gaucher played the previous three games for the Flyers, the first of his NHL career, but he will return to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL). The undrafted 23-year-old forward has 27 points (14G / 13A) in 44 games in the AHL with Lehigh Valley this season.

Gaucher comes up from the AHL after an injury to Owen Tippett and the trade of Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee on Thursday. Gaucher could be in line to make his NHL debut on Sunday after scoring 14 goals and 13 assists (27 points) in 44 AHL games this season.

Gaucher is an undrafted 23-year-old out of Longueui, Quebec. He has spent the last three seasons bouncing between the ECHL and AHL, but has played well with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL) this season, scoring 15 points (10G / 5A) in 23 games.
