Ondrej Pavelec and Ilya Bryzgalov are first on the ice for their respective teams and will be the starting goaltenders

Pavelec has won two in a row so there is no reason why the Jets would take him out for today's game vs. Philadelphia. Pavelec still isn't a great fantasy option but with the right matchup can be worth the occasional start. Today's matchup is not an ideal one for the Jets

Ondrej Pavelec
Ondrej Pavelec and Ilya Bryzgalov are first on the ice for their respective teams and will be the starting goaltenders

Bryzgalov's play has fallen off lately although he won 2 of his last 3. He could very likely make it 3 out of 4 with a great matchup today vs. the Jets.

Ilya Bryzgalov
Smith will start today vs. Edmonton.

The Coyotes haven't played since the 18th so it is no surprise that Smith will be between the pipes today. The Coyotes have a back-to-back today and tomorrow and it sounds like Smith will start both games. Since returning from injury Smith has lost only twice in regulation and once in a shootout. He has been great lately posting a 1.55 GAA and .948 SV% in his last five starts. He has a great matchup today vs. an Oilers team struggling to score.

Mike Smith
Scott Hartnell will play today for the #Flyers

Hartnell will return to the Flyers lineup tonight for the first time since early January. Hartnell has only played in three games this season and as the teams leading goal scorer last season (37) he will be a huge addition for the Flyers. He may have been dropped in your league because of the injury, if so it would be a good idea to add him.

Scott Hartnell
Matt Frattin has joined Leafs at morning skate in Ottawa.

This is the first time Frattin has skated since undergoing an operation to remove scar-tissue from his knee. He is not a full participant in practice but he is out there testing his knee. Frattin was playing great before the operation recording 7 G and 3 A in 10 games. He is still likely a minimum of a week away from returning to the Leafs lineup.

Matt Frattin
Bishop vs. Scrivens tonight.

Scrivens was excellent in his last outing vs. Ottawa where he recorded a shutout stopping all 34 shots he faced in a 3-0 win. He will look to repeat that performance tonight vs. a Sens team without their three best players (Spezza, Karlsson and Anderson). Scrivens could be a good start tonight.

Ben Scrivens
#Canes Jeff Skinner is taking the morning skate, but he is Wearing the no contact jersey.

Skinner suffered a concussion on February 14th vs. Toronto and is out indefinitely. He has a history of concussion problems and this injury wil l likely be dealt with very carefully. He skated with a non-contact jersey today at practice, however the practice was only seven minutes long. There is no timetable for Skinner's return so monitor his status after the weekend

Jeff Skinner
Rinne will start tonight for the Predators.

Rinne has been excellent has of late. He is 3-2-1 in his last six starts but has posted a 1.38 GAA and .942 SV% over that span. He is one of the best fantasy options their is and is a must-start in all formats. He has a good matchup tonight vs. a Detroit team that he just beat earlier in the week and who have lost 5 straight (0-3-2).

Pekka Rinne
Ben Bishop is in the starters end at skate. #Sens

With Craig Anderson out with an ankle injury it will be Bishop that will assume the starters role. Bishop is 2-2-0 with a 2.61 GAA and .919 SV% in limited action this season. He should make for a decent start today vs. the Maple Leafs as long as the Sens can find the back of the like they were unable to do on February 16th when the Leafs beat them 3-0.

Ben Bishop
Clutterbuck has been diagnosed with a thigh contusion after getting kneed by young Oilers star Taylor Hall late in Thursday's Wild win over Edmonton.

Clutterbuck has been ruled out for Saturday night's game against the Calgary Flames. Because the Wild wanted a right-shot winger to replace Clutterbuck, it reassigned rookie Johan Larsson and recalled rookie Charlie Coyle, who impressed during a recent five-game callup.
