JVR bruised his foot blocking a shot on Tuesday, but looks like he'll be ready for Saturday. JVR has tremendous upside and will have the best opportunity of his young career. As long as he stays healthy a career is certainly possible.
Until Niederreiter cracks the Islanders roster he remains irrelevant in fantasy. However when he does make it keep your eye on him.
No word on why Lucic is absent other than his wife may be giving birth. Lucic is a great fantasy option in leagues that score hits and PIMS. Even in just point leagues he's not a bad option. Monitor his status as Saturday approaches.
The Maple Leafs trade Lombardi yesterday and are going to Waive Connolly today. This leaves the door open for Kadri to make the team and step in and make a difference. Kadri is a talented player so monitor him as the season moves along, if he can score... He's worth a fantasy look.
Connolly never lived up to what the Leafs expected to get out of them when they signed him. If he does end up getting placed on Waivers it depends who picks him, to really determine his fantasy value.

After missing three straight days of camp Antropov has returned and could be ready for Saturday. Antorpov seems to have the skill set to be a good player, but he still remains irrelevant in fantasy leagues until he proves otherwise.
Markstrom is regarded as one of the NHL's best goalie prospects, had a shot to make the Panthers in camp but it looks like they're going to with Jose Theodore and Scott Clemmensen for another season.
There's hope for Lombardi as he returns to the team he potted 53 points in 78 games for in 2009-10. We don't have high hopes for him, just yet.
Zajac is a good sleeper this year playing with Kovalchuk.

Anyone that plays with the Sedin's is a threat to put up points. Burrows is expected to play on their line but if Hansen sticks with them on the PP, that certainly gives his fantasy value a slight boost.
