Ceci is not at practice this morning after being cut on the ear on Monday.

Ceci was hit by a Shea Weber shot on Monday and left the game right away. He tweeted after the game that he only suffered a cut and was shaken, but is OK. The Senators don't play until Saturday, so monitor Ceci's status throughout the week.

Cody Ceci
Howard confirmed starter for Detroit.

Howard gave up three goals on 31 shots in a 3-0 loss to the Rangers on Sunday. It was a lackluster performance by the Red Wings as a group, but it was the third game in a row that Howie has given up three-plus goals. He will take on the Blue Jackets in a game with huge playoff implications for both teams.

Jimmy Howard
As expected, Lundqivst back in goal for the Rangers.

Lundqvist stopped all 30 shots that he faced in a 3-0 win over the Red Wings on Sunday. Sunday was his 300th career win and his 49th shutout, which is tied for the most in Rangers history. 'King Henrik' is 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .942 SV% against the Hurricanes this season.

Henrik Lundqvist
Stewart is likely done for the season with an ankle injury.

Sabres interim head coach Ted Nolan made it sound like Stewart will miss 4-5 weeks which would end his season because the Sabres are not heading to the playoffs. The Sabres were unable to move Stewart at the deadline, so he will likely be back in Buffalo next season unless they move him at the draft. Stewart had no points in his only two games with the Sabres.

Chris Stewart
Sobotka (lower-body) is skating with the Blues this morning.

Sobotka has not played since January 31 and will miss his 12th straight game tonight. Today's practice marks the first time he has skated with the team since getting hurt, so this is a strong step in the right direction for Sobotka. Consider him day-to-day.

Vladimir Sobotka
Granlund left Monday's game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Granlund was injured on his first shift and only played 12 seconds before heading down the tunnel. Granlund could miss a lengthy period of time, a tough break for a player who was just in his seventh career NHL game.

Markus Granlund
Winchester (lower-body) will miss at least one week.

Winchester was injured in Sunday's loss to the Bruins. He will likely miss at least four or five games. The Panthers have recalled Joey Crabb and he is expected to play tonight vs. the Coyotes.

Jesse Winchester
Enroth gets the start for Buffalo.

Enroth allowed two goals on 31 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Blackhawks on Sunday. Enroth has played very well since Ryan Miller was shipped to St. Louis. He has gone 2-2-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .947 SV%. He has a solid matchup against a Predators team who have scored just seven goals in their last five games.

Jhonas Enroth
Price (lower-body) is taking part in full Canadiens practice today.

Price has been skating on his own recently, but he has joined Peter Budaj, Dustin Tokarski and the rest of the Habs on the ice Tuesday morning. Price did not take shots in the first part of practice, but started to towards the end. Price is questionable for Wednesday, but this is still a great sign for the Canadiens and Price owners.

Carey Price
Miller expected to be in goal for the Blues.

Miller stopped 26 of 27 shots in a 2-1 win over the Avalanche on Saturday. He was given the second night of the back-to-back off, but should be back in the cage tonight vs. Dallas. He has started his Blues career with a 4-0-0 record, 1.50 GAA and .933 SV%. He went from a second-tier goalie to a must-start after being traded. For those of you who held onto him in Buffalo, plug him in and enjoy the return for your patience.

Ryan Miller
Luongo makes his third straight start with the Panthers.

Luongo gave up four goals on 41 shots in a 5-2 loss to the Bruins on Sunday. He made it look easy vs. the Sabres, but against stiffer competition you were reminded that he plays for the Florida Panthers. Bobby Lu had a lot of success (2-0-1 / 2.52 / .923) against the Coyotes when in Vancouver so he should make for an OK play tonight.

Roberto Luongo
Ward is the only goalie not participating in optional morning skate; suggests he will start tonight.

Ward stopped eight of nine shots after replacing Anton Khudobin in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Devils.Ward is 6-10-5 with a 3.21 GAA and .891 SV% this season. Those numbers are way off of his career numbers (2.77 / .909) so the Hurricanes continue to wait for him to get his injury plagued season on-track. He will need his A-game tonight with Henrik Lundqvist standing in the other net.

Cam Ward
Sabres head coach Ted Nolan said goalie Jhonas Enroth will likely start tonight.
