Hunwick has been signed to amateur tryout agreement.
Hunwick is not expected to play tonight but could sign a full-time deal with the Blue Jackets. The U. of Michigan standout if currently a finalist for the Hobey Baker.

He will back up Allen York tonight.
York stopped 10 of 11 shots in two career appearances against the Red Wings.
Mason will not dress tonight and will be further evaluated. His health will determine if #CBJ signs Hunwick or another G to regular deal.
Mason was injured during this morning's practice and is now out indefinitely. Keep checking his status but the starting goalie is certainly running out of time.
Letang won't play Thursday or Friday
Letang isn't expected to miss too much time but the All-Star will rest an ailing lower-body injury. He scored nine goals and 36 points in only 47 games.
#Pens coach Bylsma: Niskanen will continue to skate on his own.
Sounds like Niskanen will miss a few more games. He scored four goals and 21 points in 72 games this season.

Jonathan Ericsson and Johan Franzen are also expected to play.
Expect Franzen to play on his normal line tonight. The Red Wings' scorer has 26 goals and 53 points in 71 games.

MONTREAL (March 28, 2012) – Montreal Canadiens general manager Pierre Gauthier announced today the signing of defenseman Greg Pateryn to a two-year contract (2012-13 and 2013-14).
Pateryn just completed his fourth season at the U. of Michigan, scoring two goals and 15 points in 41 games.
