With Chiasson out, Ryan Garbutt (undisclosed) will return to the lineup. Chiasson has just two assists in his last eight games and eight goals, 11 assists and a minus-10 rating in 35 games. Consider him day-to-day.

Orr has missed the last 10 games and is expected to be activated from IR and reclaim his spot on the fourth line. He is an enforcer and nothing more, Orr has no points in 26 games. A useful player for the Leafs, but definitely not fantasy relevant.

Jones stopped 23 of 25 to earn his eighth straight win on Saturday. The streak continues as he moved to 8-0-0 with a 0.98 GAA and .966 SV% to start his NHL career. He will take on the Stars at home tonight, Jones has given up just three goals in four starts in L.A.

Niemi gave up four goals on 32 shots in a loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday. Niemi's rough December continues as the loss moved him to 3-4-1 with a 2.61 GAA and .902 SV% this month. He draws a tough matchup vs. the Avalanche, however his home record is pretty impressive (11-1-3).

McQuaid has missed the last nine games with a lower-body injury that he suffered on November 30. He will likely suit up on the third pair. McQuaid has on goal, two assists and a plus-7 rating in 18 games.

Pavelec allowed two goals on 25 shots in a loss to the Canucks last night. He will get the call in both games of the Jets back-to-back - he will face the Oilers in Edmonton tonight. December has not been very kind to Pavelec, he is 2-5-1 with a 3.26 GAA and .882 SV%.

Tootoo dressed in two games during his call-up and recorded one assist on Saturday. He provided some much needed energy for the Red Wings, but with Gustav Nyquist returning to the lineup tonight, Tootoo has bee reassigned.

Harrison left Saturday's game after playing only 4:23 and did not return. His injury is not believed to be serious and he is listed as day-to-day. With Harrison taking a seat, Ryan Murphy will re-enter the lineup after serving as a healthy scratch for the last two games.

McElhinney stopped 33 of 36 shots in a win over the Flyers on Saturday. It was his fourth win in his last six games with a 2.76 GAA and .918 SV%. He has a good matchup tonight vs. a slumping Hurricanes team who have lost five of their last six.

Petrovic was the 36th overall pick in 2010. The 6-foot-4 defenseman skated in his first six NHL games with the Panthers last year. In 30 games with San Antonio this season, Petrovic has two goals and 11 points with a plus-6 rating.

A number of Sabres' players are battling the flu right now so Larsson will suit up along with Mark Pysyk. Larsson recorded just one assist in 17 games with the Sabres earlier in the year.

Bryzgalov surrendered six goals on 33 shots in a 6-0 loss to the Blues on Saturday. It was Bryzgalov's worst outing as an Oiler, but he will be given an opportunity to bounce back tonight vs. Winnipeg. The Jets have lost five of their last seven, so there are worse options than Bryz tonight.

Miller allowed two goals on 36 shots in Thursday's win over the Bruins. It was a great outing for the Sabres netminder, who has won two straight and three out of his last four. Miller will look to keep his hot streak going when he takes on the Coyotes in Buffalo tonight.
