Talbot confirms he is starting tonight.

Let the goalie controversy begin… Talbot will be getting his second straight start after allowing two goals on 37 shots in a big win over John Tortorella and the Canucks on Saturday. Talbot is 6-1-0 with a 1.49 GAA and .944 SV% in his first seven career NHL games.

Cam Talbot
Khudobin (ankle) will accompany the Hurricanes on their two-game road-trip.

Khudobin has been out of the lineup since October 13. Khudobin will be the third goalie on the trip as Justin Peters and Cam Ward will also travel. If Khudobin is healthy enough to dress, they may send Peters back to the AHL despite his strong play.

Anton Khudobin
Semin (concussion) will not travel with the Hurricanes on their two game road-trip.

Semin has missed the last seven games after bin concussed on November 16 vs. St. Louis. He has resumed on-ice activities so his return is looming near, but it won't come until after Thursday.

Alexander Semin
Dubinsky (foot) was a full participant in Blue Jackets' practice this morning and could be in the lineup on Tuesday.

Dubinsky has missed the last six games with a foot injury that he suffered on November 19 vs. Edmonton. Dubinsky has had a strong start to the season posting five goals and 10 assists in 21 games. Monitor his status tomorrow.

Brandon Dubinsky
In shocking news, Cam Talbot is off the ice first and appears to be getting the start vs. the Jets.

Let the goalie controversy begin… Talbot will looks to be getting his second straight start after allowing two goals on 37 shots in a big win over John Tortorella and the Canucks on Saturday. Talbot is 6-1-0 with a 1.49 GAA and .944 SV% in his first seven career NHL games.

Cam Talbot
Lupul (groin) on the ice this morning.

Lupul has missed the last three games after suffering a Grade 2 groin strain last Monday. He is expected to miss two weeks, so he will likely miss the Maple Leafs four games this week but could be back next Wednesday vs. Boston. Monitor his status as the week progresses.

Joffrey Lupul
Price goes vs. New Jersey.

Price gave up two goals on 36 shots in a 4-2 win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday. It was his fourth consecutive win as he closed out a strong November - he was 5-3-2 with a 1.97 GAA and .934 SV% in 10 starts. Price has a solid matchup tonight with the Devils in town.

Carey Price
Strait (upper-body) skated for the first time since suffering the injury.

Strait was injured on October 22 in a game vs. Vancouver. The Islanders never provided a definitive timetable for Strait's return so it is hard to gauge how long he will need to be on the ice before returning. His next step is to join his teammates. The Islanders could really use Strait back on the blueline, as they continue to struggle with an inexperienced D-corp.

Brian Strait
Nabokov (groin) is skating today for the first time since being injured.

Nabokov was hurt on the first shot of the game in a game against the Red Wings on November 16. He was expected to be out at least four weeks and it has been just over two. Nabby will remain sidelined for a couple more weeks, but his return to the ice positive news because the Isles goaltending has struggled without him.

Evgeni Nabokov
Lehner starts for the Senators.

Lehner stopped 12 of 13 shots in relief of Craig Anderson on Thursday. Anderson continues to have his struggles in net so Lehner is looking more and more like the Senators starter with each passing game. He will face the Red Wings tonight who beat last week in a 34-save performance.

Robin Lehner
Brule has cleared waivers and the Coyotes have assigned him to Portland (AHL).

Brule has been with Portland on a professional tryout, but signed a two-way deal yesterday which required him to go through waivers. He went unclaimed and will remain with the Pirates where he has six goals and two assists in eight games.
