Walman (undisclosed) has been activated from IR and will make his season debut in Ottawa on Tuesday.

Walman signed a seven-year contract worth $7 million AAV at the beginning of October but has not played a game yet in the 2025-26 season. He will make his debut on Tuesday against the Ottawa Senators. The 29-year-old Walman had a goal, eight points and a +5 plus/minus in 15 games with the Oilers last season after being acquired at the Trade Deadline from San Jose.

Jake Walman
Andersen was the first goalie off the ice at Carolina's morning skate.

The Hurricanes (5-0-0) will look to continue as the only undefeated team in the 2025-26 season, turning to Andersen between the pipes on Monday against the Vegas Golden Knights (4-0-2), who have yet to lose in regulation. The 36-year-old Andersen is coming off his best performance of the season, saving 23 of 24 shots (.958 SV%) in a 4-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks. The 33-year-old Stone scored four points (2G / 2A) before departing the game, and has 13 points (2G / 11A) in six contests this season. He will be out week-to-week, beginning with Monday's contest against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Mark Stone
Hill will start vs. Carolina on Monday.

The Golden Knights are riding a three-game winning streak and will turn to Hill between the pipes on Monday against the Carolina Hurricanes. Hill has been serviceable in four appearance (1-0-2), but the Golden Knights hope he can elevate his game to another level, returning nearer to his career 2.62 GAA and .909 SV%. The Golden Knights enter Monday's contest as slight -110 home favorites against the undefeated Hurricanes (5-0-0).

Adin Hill
Blackwood (lower-body) is close to returning but will not travel to Utah for Colorado's game on Tuesday.

Scott Wedgewood has started Colorado's first six games of the 2025-26 season, but Blackwood appears to be nearing a return from a lower-body injury after being sent to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) on a conditioning loan at the beginning of last week. Wedgewood has played well to start the season, but the team will be eager to have the services of Blackwood back in their lineup after posting a 22-12-3 record last season, alongside a 2.33 GAA and .913 SV% last season after being acquired from San Jose.

Mackenzie Blackwood
Hellebuyck was the first goalie off the ice at Winnipeg's morning skate.

After allowing five goals on 32 shots (.865 SV%) in Winnipeg's season-opening 5-4 loss to the Dallas Stars, Hellebuyck has returned to form in three games since, allowing two or fewer goals in three straight (3-0-0), posting an impressive .938 SV%. The 32-year-old Hellebuyck, the two-time reigning Vezina trophy winner, returns to the crease on Monday against the Calgary Flames. The Jets enter Monday's contest as -144 road favorites.

Connor Hellebuyck
Boeser (personal) has a chance to return in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Boeser did not play in Vancouver's 4-3 win over the Washington Capitals on Sunday, tending to a personal matter, but could return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 28-year-old Boeser has three points (3G / 0A) and 10 shots through five games this season.

Brock Boeser
Blueger (undisclosed) is doubtful to play Tuesday in Pittsburgh.

Blueger scored a goal in Vancouver's 4-3 win over the Washington Capitals on Sunday, but also suffered an undisclosed injury and is unlikely to play on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 31-year-old Blueger had 26 points (8G / 18A) in 82 games last season.

Teddy Blueger
Lundkvist (lower-body) has been placed on IR and is considered week-to-week.

Lundkvist left Thursday's game vs. the Canucks with a lower-body injury and did not return. He has not practiced since and will be sidelined week-to-week recovering from a lower-body injury. The 25-year-old defenseman was off to a strong 2025-26, scoring three points (1G / 2A) in four games.

Nils Lundkvist
Mikkola (upper-body) practiced in full on Monday and will be ready vs. Boston on Tuesday.

Mikkola exited Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Buffalo Sabres early after only 6:53 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury. The 29-year-old defenseman has zero points, eight blocks, and five hits in seven games this season.

Niko Mikkola
Hague (upper-body) returned to practice on Monday with Nashville.

Hague was acquired from Vegas in the offseason and then signed to a four-year, $22 million contract by the Predators, but suffered an upper-body injury earlier in the preseason. Hague was originally paired with Roman Josi to start training camp but it's unclear if he will return there when he makes his season debut. The 26-year-old is entering his seventh NHL season after putting up five goals, 12 points and 40 PIMs in 68 games played last season.

Nicolas Hague

Sundqvist suffered a lower-body injury at practice days before the season opened and has been sidelined since. The 31-year-old Sundqvist has 164 points (62G / 102A) in 493 career games. He hopes to make his season debut on Tuesday against the Los Angels Kings.

Oskar Sundqvist
Askarov will start on Long Island on Tuesday.

The Sharks (0-3-2) continue their search for their first win of the season and hope Askarov can deliver when he tends the twine on Tuesday against the New York Islanders. The high pedigree 23-year-old goalie has struggled early in the 2025-26 season, posting a 6.47 GAA and .833 SV% in two games (0-1-1). The Sharks enter Tuesday's contest as +180 road underdogs against an Islanders team riding a two-game winning streak.

Yaroslav Askarov
