Budaj starts on Saturday.

Budaj stopped all of the 27 shots that he faced in a shutout win over the Rangers on Monday. In two starts this year, Budaj is 2-0 with a 0.50 GAA and .982 SV%. If he continues to play this well, he will force the Habs to give him more starts. He has a tough test against the Avalanche tomorrow.

Peter Budaj
The Vancouver Canucks have signed Daniel and Henrik Sedin to four-year, $28 million dollar deals.

Like Daniel, Henrik has played all 13 seasons with Vancouver after being drafted third overall in 1999. One of the NHL's premiere playmakers has 625 assists to go along with 185 goals in 955 career games. He is currently tied for second in the NHL with 18 points (3 G / 15 A).

Henrik Sedin
The Vancouver Canucks have signed Daniel and Henrik Sedin to four-year, $28 million dollar deals.

Daniel is in his 13th season in the NHL - all with the Canucks. He has 297 goals and 476 assists in 921 career NHL games. He has had a strong start to the 2013-14 season, posting 15 points (6G / 9A) in 15 games. Daniel will remain a Canuck with his brother until they are 37.

Daniel Sedin
Giguere will start on Saturday.

Giguere was originally scheduled to start on Friday, but Semyon Varlamov will now start. Giguere will face his hometown team (Montreal) in Colorado. It will be his fourth start of the season, in his first three starts he has been excellent. He has the league's best GAA (0.67) and SV% (.981) and he is also tied for the most shutouts with two. His shutouts have come against two great teams in Boston and Pittsburgh (each average 3+ G/PG)

Crawford will start Saturday.

Crawford stopped 14 of 15 shots in a relief effort on Tuesday. Despite Nikolai Khabibulin getting the start, Crawford rewarded fantasy owners that had him in their lineup with an unexpected win. He has a good matchup tomorrow when the Hawks take on the Jets.

Corey Crawford
Howard will not start Saturday because of back-to-back, but will start Monday vs. the Jets.

Howard allowed three goals on 25 shots in a win over the Flames on Friday. It was not the Red Wings best outing but they got enough from Howard to sneak by Calgary. He was given Saturday night off so he should be well rested to face Al Montoya and the Jets tonight. A win tonight would make the Red Wings a perfect 4-0 on their four game western Canada roadtrip.

The Kings have recalled Linden Vey from Manchester (AHL).

Vey was the 96th overall pick in the 2009 NHL Draft. He has never played an NHL game, but has three goals and eight assists (11 points) in 10 games with Manchester (AHL).

Linden Vey
Carter (lower-body) will be placed on IR.

There is very little information on Carter's injury, but he is expected to skate with the team this afternoon and then be placed on IR later. Tyler Toffoli and Linden Vey have been recalled with Carter out. He is tied for the team lead in goals with five.

Jeff Carter
Johnny Boychuk is day to day, per Claude Julien. He's at the rink today and feeling better, "more than likely he's on this trip" .

Boychuk left Thursday's game with an undisclosed injury and did not return. This is positive news for the Bruins, Boychuk plays 20-plus minutes on most nights. Monitor his status before tomorrow's matchup with the Islanders.

Johnny Boychuk
Brodeur will start Saturday.

Brodeur won his first and second games of the season on Saturday and Tuesday. In those two games he posted a 2.00 GAA and .911 SV%, which is a step in the right direction for the 41-year-old. Brodeur has a good chance to win his third straight with the Flyers in town on Saturday.

Martin Brodeur
Varlamov will start tonight.

It was reported earlier in the week that J.S Giguere was going to start this evening. After Varlamov's run-in with the law this week, it appeared that Giguere would become the starter for the foreseeable future. However, Varlamov is back with the team and will end up getting the start tonight. He will face a solid Dallas Stars team tonight.

Semyon Varlamov
Malhotra will make his Hurricanes debut tonight.

Malhotra signed with Carolina yesterday and will be on their fourth line tonight. He missed the entire 2012-13 season because of a serious eye injury. Though he has been a consistent 10 goal, 20 assist producer throughout his career, he likely won't have any fantasy relevance this season. Malhotra had no points in eight games with Charlotte (AHL).

Manny Malhotra
Brodeur and others have left ice already. Schneider still working. Looks like Brodeur Saturday vs. Philadelphia.

Killorn has been moved to the top-line with Steven Stamkos and Martin St. Louis.

Killorn, 24, had a strong start to the season but has really cooled off as of late. Moving him onto a line with the red-hot Stamkos could get jumpstart Killorn. Whoever plays the LW on this line becomes a solid fantasy commodity. Ryan Malone had seven points in 12 games in that position.
