As expected, Stars have recalled Adam Pardy from Texas Stars.
Pardy is too good for the AHL after posting three assists in his first game. Look for him to get another crack at the lineup.
Holland also said that he's hoping to have Jimmy Howard back in the next 7-10 days.
Howard has yet to face shots but might start doing so shortly. Right now the main concern is properly padding his finger in order for it to heal properly.
According to GM Ken Holland, Dan Cleary will miss this weekend's games against Anaheim and Philadelphia.
Cleary likely misses about a week due to this injury. The third line winger scored 11 goals and 27 points through 55 games. Look for Jan Mursak to replace him in the lineup.
Not great news day for #Caps, re: Backstrom
Backstrom still hasn't resumed hockey activity as he is sidelined indefinitely with a concussion. Don't expect him back any time soon.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
