Price will start for the Habs.

Price allowed two goals on 37 shots in a tough loss to the Sharks on Saturday. Price did all that he could, but the Habs couldn't find a way to beat Antti Niemi. Price has a 2.12 GAA and .937 SV% in 10 appearances but has been held to just five wins. He has a decent matchup vs. a Stars team who is averaging 2.64 goals per game.

Carey Price
Lehtonen between the pipes for the Stars.

Lehtonen started last night and allowed three goals on 25 shots in a win over the Sabres. He is now 2-0-1 with a 1.62 GAA and .946 SV% since returning from a groin injury last week. He will look to continue his strong play tonight vs. the Canadiens.

Kari Lehtonen
Khabibuin will start for the Blackhawks.

Khabibulin was lit up for six goals on 26 shots in an overtime loss to the Lightning on Thursday. It was just his second start of the season, but the russian netminder has an ugly .818 SV% to begin his second stint with the Blackhawks. He has a decent matchup tonight against the 4-6-2 Senators.

Burns (mouth) skated on his own today but will miss Wednesay's contest with the Kings.

Burns will miss his fifth consecutive game on Wednesday with a mouth injury he suffered on October 19th. The Sharks haven't missed a beat without Burns, but his eight points in eight games has fantasy owners impatiently waiting for his return. Consider him questionable for Saturday vs. Phoenix

Brent Burns
Scrivens starts Tuesday; Quick starts Wednesday.

While Richard Bachman worked his tail off on one end (47 saves), Quick eased his way to a 2-1 shootout win in the other. He only saw 18 shots in the contest and picked up his seventh win in 11 starts. Quick had a slow start last season, so expect the 2.53 GAA and .907 SV% to improve as the season progresses. Quick draws the tougher of the two matchups as he takes on the Sharks tomorrow.

Jonathan Quick
Boyle doesn't know if he's playing tomorrow, but says he's had no setbacks or headaches.

There was a chance that Boyle could have returned Sunday, so one would think that there is an even better chance for him to be in the lineup tomorrow. He has missed the Sharks last six games with a concussion, San Jose is 4-1-1 in that span. They are atop the NHL standings right now, so the return of one of the NHL's premiere defenseman, will bolster the club's lineup even further. Monitor his status following Wednesday's gameday skate.

Dan Boyle
Lehtonen could start tonight.

Lehtonen stopped 22 of 25 shots in a win over the Sabres on Monday. Lehtonen was not available this morning, but he said after the game last night, “We’re going to talk and I’m going to prepare myself from this moment on to be ready to play tomorrow." While it might be risky to have Lehtonen start both games in the back-to-back after he just recovered from a groin injury, it sounds like he might get the nod.

Kari Lehtonen
Scrivens is the first goalie off the ice; he starts.

Scrivens will make his first start since October 13th when he shutout the Florida Panthers. He has been solid as the Kings backup posting a 1.22 GAA and .939 SV% in three appearances. He has a decent matchup tonight against a Coyotes team the Kings just beat on Thursday.

Ben Scrivens
There are conflicting reports as to who is starting for the Blackhawks.

We weil stick with Khabibulin, but change him to likely until coach Joel Quenneville addresses the media at 5 PM EST.

Smith starts for the Coyotes.

Smith will get a second crack versus the Kings after being pulled after the first period just five days ago. He allowed four goals on 15 shots and didn't return to the crease for the second stanza. Historically he has been good vs. LA (9-4-0) but how much weight does that matter in 2013-14?

Mike Smith
Lupul (bruised foot) is a game-time decision tonight in Edmonton.

Lupul is in danger of missing his third consecutive game with a bone bruise in his foot. He was skating gingerly yesterday, which suggests that he might not be ready tonight. Monitor his status prior to the 9 PM EST puck-drop.

Joffrey Lupul

The Phoenix Coyotes recalled Andy Miele from Portland (AHL) yesterday and he will be in the lineup tonight vs. Los Angeles.

Miele will centre the Coyotes third line with Tim Kennedy and David Moss. Miele has five goals and three assists in six games with Portland.

Andy Miele
Reimer starts for the Maple Leafs.

Reimer added another chapter to Toronto's goalie controversy on Saturday. He stopped 37 shots, leading the Maple Leafs to a 4-1 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. He has now won each of his last two starts while making 35-plus saves. He should make for a good start tonight against the Oilers 18th ranked offence.

James Reimer
Bachman starts for the Oilers.

The Oilers will reward Bachman with another start after a spectacular performance on Sunday vs. LA. He stopped 47 of 48 shots in a heart-breaking shootout loss. He had a .885 SV% in 13 games with the Stars last year, so don't expect this to become a reoccurring theme.

Richard Bachman
Khabibulin starts for the Hawks.
