#Flyers GM Paul Holmgren announced that Danny Briere's status is now day-to-day.
Getting Briere back into the lineup would be a big boost for the struggling Flyers. The second-line center scored 13 goals and 30 points in 43 games before getting hurt. In the meantime, expect Max Talbot to remain in his place.

Doug Wilson says Havlat will start skating in the "near future," but wouldn't specify exactly when.
Havlat skating will obviously be the first step. In his first 26 games with the Sharks, the Czech winger scored two goals and 15 points. Expect him to return at some point this month.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
