Not good but we have no reason to expect anyone other than Nik Backstrom in net tonight. Stay tuned.

Not good but we have no reason to expect anyone other than Nik Backstrom in net tonight. Stay tuned.

Garbo underwent some tests in New York but has rejoined the team for practice this morning. Stay tuned for an update on his status later tonight.

That would leave Bachman the likely guy to get the start tonight and build off of his win last night vs. Nashville.

We'll have to wait for confirmation from Dallas but it looks like Lehtonen has a chance to play.

Suter left Thursday's game with an undisclosed injury and did not return. The fact that he isn't skating this morning indicates he likely isn't going to play tonight. Either Prosser and Falk will enter the lineup to replace Suter, and Jared Spurgeon will move to the top d-pair.

The Wild will likely have to wait to get their depth at center back. Cullen has been out since April 1.

Rask allowed two goals on 36 shots in a losing effort vs. the surging Islanders on Friday. He will be in the cage again tonight when the B’s take on Carolina. The Hurricanes couldn’t be struggling anymore than they are right now, so start Rask with confidence.

Bishop struggled for the first time as a member of the Lightning on Thursday. He was peppered by the Penguins all night and gave up six goals on 42 shots. He takes on a hot Capitals team tonight, so you might want to look at your other options.

No word on who sits but it is likely Barberio.

Lundqvist stopped 23 of 25 shots in a shootout win over the Maple Leafs. He has won four out of his last six starts with a 1.79 GAA and .940 SV%. 'King' Henrik takes on and Isles team who are playing lately, so a win is not a sure thing tonight.

Brent will miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury. He is not fantasy relevant.

Peters stopped 28 of 30 shots, but Braden Holtby was spectacular as the Caps beat the Hurricanes on Thursday. He has another tough test tonight vs. Boston, so don't expect the Hurricanes struggles to stop tonight.

Markstrom allowed six goals on 23 shots in a 7-2 loss to the Jets in Winnipeg. It won't get any easier for the young net-minder tonight as he faces Evgeni Malkin and the Penguins. I don't think it would be a good idea to start him tonight.

Wolski looks to be the odd forward out. Erat hasn't recorded a point in his last five games.

Nabokov has been awesome over the last seven days. He is 3-0-0 with a 1.33 GAA and .949 SV%. He gets the call tonight vs. their New York rivals. The Rangers are 3-1-1 in their last five so it won't be an easy win for Nabby.

Erat will likely play tonight, but monitor his status throughout the day just to make sure. He will probably jump back on the second line with Ribeiro and Brouwer.

Holtby was great on Thursday. He stopped 43 of 44 shots he faced in a 3-1 win over the Canes. He will be back in goal tonight vs. an up-and-down lightning team. He has played well as of late, winning five of his last six with a 2.59 GAA and .920 SV%. He should make for a good start.

Lupul will miss his fourth straight game tonight. No timeline yet for his return.

Reimer was unable to win two in a row vs. the Rangers on Wednesday. He gave up two goals on 28 shots and the Rangers took it 3-2 in a shootout. He will start today vs. a good Habs team. In his only other start vs. Montreal this season, he shut them out in a 6-0 walloping.

He could potentially play on Monday vs. the Sens. Monitor his status heading into next week.
