Former collegiate standout could suit up as soon as Monday against Wild
Hanowski signed an entry level contract after they acquired his rights in the Iginla trade. Given the recent Tanguay injury and the fact that Feaster has said Hanowski will play in at least one NHL game this season, the expectation is that Hanowski will suit up on Monday vs. Minnesota. Hanowski had 31 points in 37 games for St. Cloud State this season.
Coach Bob Hartley says Alex Tanguay's knee injury doesn't look good.
Tanguay is the latest Flames player to go down in the twilight of this shortened season. Tanguay had a modest 27 points in 40 games this season and can safely be dropped in all formats.
Hot Streak
Dallas forward Alex Chiasson scored two goals for the Stars on Friday night to register his fifth goal just five games into his NHL career.
Chiasson has turned a few heads playing alongside Jamie Benn and Ray Whitney and is part of the Stars' recent resurgence. Chiasson appears to be a safe play down the stretch if you are looking for offense.
Now there's just two weeks left in the regular season, but Bertuzzi isn't willing to concede those remaining seven games yet.
It's likely too late in the season to get any benefit from a possible Bertuzzi return to the Wings' lineup - if it happens at all.
Coach Mike Yeo refused to say what kind of injury Suter has or where it is, saying only that Suter is day-to-day.
While Suter did sit out practice on Friday, it appears to be a precautionary measure as he could play Saturday. Follow his status closely today.

Smith allowed just one goal on 30 shots in a 3-1 win over the Oilers on Wednesday. He has a great matchup tonight vs. the Flames, start him with confidence.

Giguere stopped all 12 shots that he faced in a relief effort last night. He will face the Canucks for the second time this season tomorrow. In the first start he allowed three goals in a losing effort. It is a tough matchup, I would look elsewhere.

Lehtonen will not start or back-up tonight because of a groin injury he suffered on Tuesday.

It will be the battle of the back-ups in Nashville tonight. Bachman will go head-to-head with Chris Mason. Bachman is 4-3-0 with a 3.72 GAA and .860 SV% this season. I wouldn't recommend either goalie for fantasy.
Forward Lauri Korpikoski, who has missed the past eight games because of an upper-body injury, may return to the lineup tonight.
Korpikoski has six goals and five assists in 32 games this season. Monitor his stats prior to puck-drop.
