Daccord will start in Montreal on Tuesday.

The Kraken will turn to Daccord between the pipes for the third time this season when they travel to Montreal to take on the Canadiens on Tuesday. Daccord stayed red-hot in his last outing, stopping 26 of the 27 shots he faced in a 2-1 overtime victory over Vegas on Saturday. Through two starts, the 29-year-old netminder owns a .968 SV% and 0.96 GAA on the season. Daccord and the Kraken enter action on Tuesday at +130 on the money line.

Joey Daccord
Wiesblatt will make his season debut in Toronto on Tuesday.

Wiesblatt will draw into the lineup for the first time this season in favour of Joakim Kemell, who is a healthy scratch. A former first-round pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, Wiesblatt made his NHL debut last season, registering zero goals and one assist in five games for the Predators.

Ozzy Wiesblatt
Bussi will make his Hurricanes' debut in San Jose on Tuesday.

With Pyotr Kochetkov (undisclosed) still sidelined, Bussi will likely tend the twine for his first career start on Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks, giving Frederik Andersen the night off in the team's third game of the season. The 27-year-old Bussi spent the entirety of the 2023-24 season in the AHL with the Providence Bruins, posting a 2.77 GAA and .907 SV% in 33 games (15-14-3). The Hurricanes enter the action on Tuesday as -244 road favorites against a Sharks team that has scored nine goals through its first two games (0-0-2).

Brandon Bussi
Sasson has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).

Sasson has two goals in two games with the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL) and has been recalled to Vancouver. The 25-year-old forward has seven points (3G / 4A) in 29 career NHL games. The Canucks reassigned Braden Cootes to the Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL) in a corresponding move.

Max Sasson
Cootes has been reassigned to Seattle (WHL).

Three games into his NHL career, 18-year-old Braeden Cootes has been reassigned to the Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL). Cootes, the Canucks' 15th-overall pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft, recorded a -2 plus/minus and zero points. The Canucks recalled Max Sasson from Abbotsford (AHL) in a corresponding move.

Braeden Cootes
Kotkaniemi will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday in San Jose.

Mark Jankowski will draw into Carolina's lineup for his season debut on Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks, sending Kotkaniemi to the press box as a healthy scratch. Through two games this season, the 25-year-old Kotkaniemi is averaging 10:06 time on ice and has one point (0G / 1A).

Jesperi Kotkaniemi
Jankowski will make his season debut in San Jose on Tuesday.

Jesperi Kotkaniemi will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks, allowing Jankowski to draw into the lineup for his season debut. The 31-year-old was a productive goal scorer after being acquired by Carolina ahead of the 2024-25 trade deadline, scoring eight goals in 19 games.

Bussi was the first goalie off the ice at Carolina's morning skate.

Graf is expected to be a healthy scratch vs. Carolina on Tuesday.

With Michael Misa slated to make his NHL debut on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes, Graf will head to the press box as a healthy scratch. The 23-year-old Graf is averaging 15:33 time-on-ice and has zero points through two games this season.

Collin Graf
Nedeljkovic was the first goalie off the ice at San Jose's morning skate.

Nedeljkovic had a forgetful outing in San Jose's season-opening loss to the Vegas Golden Knights and will hope for a better result when he returns to the crease on Tuesday against his former team, the Carolina Hurricanes. The 29-year-old Nedeljkovic was stringing together an excellent outing against the Golden Knights before allowing the game-tying goal on a harmless shot from center ice and then turning the puck over in overtime in an eventual 4-3 loss, ultimately allowing four goals on 31 shots (.871 SV%). The Sharks enter the action on Tuesday as sizable +239 home underdogs against a Hurricanes team that has outscored their opposition 10-6 through two games (2-0-0).

Alex Nedeljkovic
Dostal will start vs. Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

The Ducks have alternated goalies in their first two games this season and will turn back to Dostal on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Dostal played well in his only outing this season, saving 28 of 31 shots (.903 SV%) in a 3-1 loss to the Seattle Kraken. The 25-year-old Czech netminder had a solid 2024-25 season, posting a 3.10 GAA and .903 SV% in 54 appearances (23-23-7), resulting in the offseason departure of John Gibson to the Detroit Red Wings to solidify Dostal as the Ducks' undisputed starting goalie in 2025-26. The Ducks enter Tuesday's contest as -134 home favorites against a Penguins team that has scored only 8 goals in its first 3 games (2-1-0).

Lukas Dostal
Cooley will start in Utah on Wednesday.

The Flames turned to Dustin Wolf in both games of their first back-to-back set this season, but will flip the script on the tail end of their second back-to-back on Wednesday against the Utah Mammoth, giving Cooley his first start this season. The 28-year-old Cooley made his NHL debut last season, posting a much-to-be-desired 4.98 GAA and .870 SV% in six contests (2-3-1). If the first week of the season is any indication, Cooley's deployment could be very limited in 2025-26, as Wolf could easily surpass the 53 appearances he had in the crease in 2024-25.

Devin Cooley
Miromanov will make his season debut vs. Vegas on Tuesday.

Brayden Pachal will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday against the Vegas Golden Knights, allowing Miromanov to make his season debut in Calgary's fourth game of the season. The 28-year-old Miromanov played a career-high 44 games with the Flames last season, recording nine points (2G / 7A), 55 blocks, and 19 hits.

Daniil Miromanov
Pachal will be a healthy scratch vs. Vegas on Tuesday.

After playing in Calgary's first three games to start the season, Pachal will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 26-year-old Pachal is averaging 13:38 time-on-ice and has a -1 plus/minus this season. Daniil Miromanov will draw into the lineup as Pachal's replacement.

Brayden Pachal
Annunen will start in Toronto on Tuesday.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, a day after a 4-1 win over the Ottawa Senators, Nashville will turn to Annunen for his first start of the season. The 25-year-old Annunen posted a 3.17 GAA and .888 SV% in 23 appearances with the Predators (9-11-1) last season after being acquired in a trade with the Colorado Avalanche. The Predators enter the action on Tuesday as +156 road underdogs against a Toronto Maple Leafs team off to a 1-2-0 start to the 2025-26 season.

Justus Annunen
Benson (upper-body) has a chance to make his season debut on Wednesday vs. Ottawa.

Benson has not played in Buffalo's first three games due to an upper-body injury but could draw into the lineup in Wednesday's contest against the Ottawa Senators. The 20-year-old Benson scored 28 points (10G / 18A) in 75 games last season.
