He skated briefly last two days before practice. He will not play on Sunday and is doubtful for Tuesday. The Red Wings injuries continue to mount, monitor Franzen's status next week.

Kari Lehtonen was injured in yesterday's game so Nilstorp has been recalled to backup Richard Bachman while Lehtonen is out with an injury.

Anderson comes into tonight at 7-3-2 with a 1.58 GAA and .949 SV% but things are about to get more difficult for him as the Senators begin life without Karlsson. He has a fairly good matchup tonight against the Maple Leafs.
Kari Lehtonen left yesterday's game after he went down in a butterfly in the first period, bounced up gingerly and then waved to the bench to come get him out of the game.
Lehtonen had won 5 straight entering play last night, but was forced to leave the game with a groin injury. Richard Bachman came in for him and won the game. Lehtonen is considered day-to-day for now, and Bachman will likely start on Sunday.

Holtby has won 3 in a row posting a 2.66 GAA and .910 SV% in that span. He has a tough matchup vs. the Rangers.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
